Odds of Chip being fired?

Preseason predictions have been anywhere from two to five wins due to the schedule this year which was tougher than last year. There is some talent in spots on this team. Not all-pro talent but some good players like in the secondary but there are also some really bad spots like at linebacker and no pass rush. QB and WR are two more glaring holes. Chip Kelly's future with the 49ers really depends on what happens in the Front Office this offseason. Generally thought is Baalke will get fired, the question is who takes over. A new GM other than Tom Gamble will probably want to bring in his own HC.

But by the time the season ends all the jobs will be filled in college. Unless a program out there decides to fire their coach knowing they could get Chip.

I think Baalke will be out after the season...Chip will likely be back but it will be the new GM's decision on whether or not he's the right fit for the organization.

me neither, as hard as it is for fans, continuity is important considering what happened last season. so it won't look good firing yet another coaching staff.

its a given the DC will get fired, but not Kelly.

although my opinion is he won't get fired, not a big fan. It isn't the results that bother me most, but his offensive scheme - mainly running game. It seems more bland that Romans?

If Baalke doesn't get the hook...that stadium is going to be even more empty than this season. Nobody is going to want to pay good money to watch the train wreck that the FO is putting on the field. I'm not even sure I'd dedicate 3 hours of my life to it either.

It would be crazy to fire Kelly and keep Baalke because if Baalke is still GM, no on better is going to take the head coaching job. Two head coaches fired in two years, no one is going to come unless it is under a new GM

I think he is gone. Florio's story disputed the Jed/Shanahan scenario but Florio's article did not try to dispute Baalke being fired

Yea, Gamble would be the logical choice and it fits how the Yorks like to do things. My wish would be for them to bring another higher ranking individual in the FO to run the football operations who has a foorball background. Doubt that happens. Right now the 49ers have Jed, Marathe, and Al Guido. None of them have a football background

NFL please step in and save our storied franchise. Limit York's power on the football aspects, fire Baalke and hire a GM to can Chip, draft a Qb and pick up a veteran QB in FA to compete and hold the ship until next man up. Rest of the draft picks on DL/LB and OL.

Man I hope not. Everything I've read recently suggests Baalke is gone. The Yorks are feeling the pressure to make a change and Baalke is the easy choice right now.
