And not a moment too soon either. Their Eagles Super Bowl XXXIX Championship t-shirts must be in tatters by now.

I said it days ago, Denver would cut him and Dallas could get him on the cheap, ok backup, just don't let him talk to Dak, you don't want that mess in his head....:D

Well if on the cheap you mean $5.5 million (more than what the Broncos were going to pay him) then I would agree.

That don't mean Dallas is gonna pay him that as a backup, and how much of that is the Broncos on the hook for ?

The deal can pay Sanchez up to $5.375 million, sources said, but the base value of the deal is $2 million. Sanchez can maximize the deal based on play-time and team-performance incentives.

0. Pretty much the Broncos had Sanchez sign a deal that they would pay him $4.5 million if he made the 53-man roster. They gave him a $1 million guarantee but that guarantee was only if he did not make another roster if cut and if they paid him less than $1 million when they signed him. So since the Cowboys are clearly paying him more than than $1 million the Broncos owe Sanchez nothing and have no dead money from the deal plus get their 7th round pick back. Pretty much the existence of Sanchez being a Bronco has been erased.

Good point. There are quite a few incentives built into the deal. Mostly all I care about as a Bronco fan is that the base salary is $2 million. Anything less than $1 million and the Broncos would have had to pay him $1 million for being on our roster through training camp. Since you guys paid him that much we have 0 dead money from the Sanchez deal.

How do you figure? Sanchez didn't make our team and isn't the guy taking the 1st snap of the season. He was brought in at no cost to the team just to see if he could win the starting job and couldn't do it so the team cut bait and have moved on. To me what you should say is the Broncos brought in Paxton Lynch to replace Peyton Manning. He is the future of the team at the position.

It's called trolling, Dumler.
Siemen still might be the better - and you'll find out because he will start.
Lynch was and still is a gamble - like all young QB's.....

My apologies. Hard to always tell what people are doing. And you are right any young player is a gamble. At the same time not sure there was a better option out there to try and improve the position.

how's this working out?

gotta say freamon...you raised an eye with me when you predicted two philly wins this year playing Dallas

based on the above....perhaps you just got ahead of yourself. Pretty common among the philly faithful over the years
I don't make the news, i just report it.

Your team didn't win a lot of games and finished dead last in the division last year. 2016 looks like more of the same for your team. You're the last one that should be talking about getting ahead of yourself.

No they have 3 QB's. They signed Austin Davis the same day they cut Sanchez.
