DiNucci had zero chance coming into this game to beat out Stidham for the #2 job. That wasn’t even an open competition.

Nah. You want your backup to have experience. If Stidham played horrible had he been thrown into a regular seasom game then you would see DiNucci. DiNucci’s best case is PS, which seems likely.
