Two weeks in a row, Joseph doesn't have a plan for a 2 minute offense. Maybe using his 1st string players will be different.

The good news is it's not like we're ever going to be in a 2 minute situation with only our third string players out there. Nobody is trying to lose games in preseason but nobody is putting any game planning strategy on film either.

We went 2-1 last year in Preseason with Hackett and we know how that season turned out. We also went 3-0 with Fangio the year before as well so maybe for Denver we don’t want to win in Preseason haha.

Could really care less if we lose in the final seconds of a PS game with our 3rd stringers in. I mean you want to build a winning culture and it should hurt to lose but I am a strong believer in these games you learn more when you lose then when you win. I really care about what our first team looks like when it is on the field and what type of depth we have behind those guys. The guys on the field for the last play we hopefully aren't going to be depending on as most of them will be off the roster and a handful on the PS.

concerned about VJ freaking out at the end of the game. Payton knows culture only changes with winning and losing these games does not help.


Powers is getting abused in practice and games. Oline is about consistency and our prized FA signing not playing at all this camp does not help.

I hope Powers isn't another Graham Glasgow signing. I like to say he will be fine though. Seems like we have had terrible luck with signing RT's (mostly dumb injury prone large contracts given by Elway) and OG's... The one OG signing we did hit on pretty good was Louis Vasquez then when we changed our scheme we traded him away.

Definitely an improved showing by the first units. Powers looks bad which is concerning. Hopefully it is just a learning curve moving to a new team and offense.

We should Draft a decent one and stop buying what other's state they can just draft one way cheaper.

A Good RG solves crappy OL passing blocking problems ... No pinning ears back. Makes DL hold for that extra second

Our Center is going to be okay at power Running like he was at LSU. He does not have a Zone gear IMO

Also to be clear yes he can play zone but he is not what you want if that is all you want out of him .

I'll see if I can find it but there is a great video of Meinerz as a run blocker pancaking people this last game. I am excited to see the full force of this run game with McGlinchey back in the lineup. Seems like all 5 of the starters are better run blockers than pass blockers so good to lean into that and hopefully cause teams to slow down their pass rush.
