Look how much bigger our OLine is with Wiz and Warmack. looks to me like we want to be able to run more. Sets us up perfectly for Cook at #14. A runner who can run with speed and power AND catch the ball well.

Don't care if we draft 4 consecutive CBS after that.

I think we want to run more for sure, but I am not sure that means first round back.

Now, if it is Cook, I won't cry, because I think he looks like a franchise back. But I see two man corners: Sidney Jones and Cordrea Tankersley?

Cook could very well be the pick, but they have to check out his shoulder. there are some real good backs we can get later, although not as dynamic as Cook. I would like to see us pick up a CB like Kayvon Webster, so we do not have to take a CB at #1 or #2.

This is my thought....I want Cook if he is there. All the better for me to get behind that if we get a FA corner in before draft. That way I don't have to feel bad about us taking RB at 14.

I really do think Cook could be sick at the next level. And I want that to be with him in midnight green!

We have no money for FA corners. And they're all gone now, the good ones anyhow.

On RB, I like some of the middle round prospects, like Jeremy McNichols of Boise State or Kareem Hunt of Toledo. The Eagles were reportedly among the teams really checking out Hunt at the Senior Bowl. He lacks long speed, only ran a 4.6 at the combine, but has pretty much everything else you need at the position.

Hope not. He is as much of a "bell cow" as anyone we can get in the 2nd-5th rounds. McCaffrey is more of what we need than Cook. Fournette at 14 or wait until rounds 3-5--Gallman, Perijne, Williams, or a couple of others.

Yes. I'll take Jones and King in the 1st and 2nd.

this is exactly what I am thinking. The problem is, he will likely go low 1st round. I have been wondering if we could trade UP from our 2nd into the lower first and get a CB at 14, and McCaffrey in the low 1st. That alone would be 2 major starters. Good draft. Everything else gravy.

At this point, with what we have done, I see a CB in the 1st.

question now becomes, are we willing to trade DOWN in a CB rich draft, to try and get 2 low 1sts to get a slightly lower CB and McCaffrey (more likely than being able to trade up from our 2nd).

OUCH... I just saw a mock draft having McAaffrey going 19 overall. Maybe higher in the 1st than I thought.

Wendell Smallwood is going to be their main back. If they took a RB in round one if I a, Swartz I tender my resignation right then and there. The defense needs help DE,DT and 3 corners and they can't all be rookies

I would love to be wrong, but I think Smallwood is nothing special.

Agreed, I don't see anything special at all in Smallwood. I would love it if we draft D Cook at 14.

Kayvon Webster in free agency after they clear some more space.

Never said he was special but between him and sproles they are fine take a back in later rounds Right now they have to address the corner position early and often along with the defense end position.

That would be fine but let's not over rate the guy he is probably more of a third corner. I am holding out hope that Howie pulls off a deal for a corner. Not sure who is available via trade but maybe they can swap a Kelce for one.

So you guys are basically saying the University of Washington has better corners than the Eagles. Not disagreeing, but man, that is some sad shit.

Trade down 4-5 spots, grab a #2 in the process then draft McCaffrey, take your CB's in the 2nd and then Perine and a WR in the 3rd and 4th.

McCaffrey would be a pretty good fit. There will be a pretty good corner in the second round. Wonder if we could find a trade partner in a slight trade down? If I had to guess though, the Eagles are looking at more than just cornerback. They got to be looking at the D line too. I remember Andy Reid always talking about fastballs. Plus it looks like Benny Logan is a goner so I think we take a defense of tackle by the third round.
