Ugh, don't remind me. We made Matt Jones and Kelvin Taylor look like Herschel and Bo. Ridiculous.
I do tend to think he did a good job in 2015, that defense was the only reason we were able to win 10 games that year. Even that year had it's negatives though.
Agreed. He had his moments though. Very happy with Mel.
I seem to be a bit in the minority, I'm a believer he can be a good job. Though success against at MSU might be too much to ask
Cade Mays will wait to see who Tennessee hires, no surprise there. While momentum seems to be leaning our way, especially with us getting the final visit, I still think he ends up in Knoxville when it's all said and done.
As long as we get Salyer and Hill, the blow will be softened some.
Since it hasn't been mentioned in this thread, Wayna Morris decommited from FSU. 4* OT. UGA looking like the favorite at the moment, but also Florida State, Florida, Oklahoma, LSU, and Auburn in his top 6.
I feel very confident the game will be MUCH closer than last time lol.
On a serious note, I think Auburn MIGHT be the better team. OLine much more veteran, pass rush is better. I think our passing game as a whole is a wash to be honest. Both teams have largely been effecient when they've...
Gotcha, I know he certainly had success against a Michigan defense I respect. I also know he's well thought of there in Columbus. I don't think it would be largely significant, but might be enough for me to edge Wisconsin just for the unknown factor.
Will wait to give my vote with more clarity when it comes to JT, though it looks likely he will play. Assuming he does, I will probably lean OSU but thinking it will be a good game. I think OSU is good enough to slow down Taylor, possibly force Hornibrook into some mistakes as well (which he has...
Also agree, thought there was a time this year where he had saved his job for at least another year. I expected the team to implode after the UCLA game, but they held it together impressively imo.
As far as Fisher is concerned, it would be a step down from a program standpoint, but A&M could...
I was never overly nervous about Eason going elsewhere, but I knew he was a major part of the glue that was keeping the majority of the class together. As if with nearly any coaching change, we'll lose some guys. We should also get some guys strictly because of the Smart move. It works both I...
Would love to see McFadden be healthy behind that line just to see behind that oline. Bradford would be fun to watch in that offense.
Though he never did much for us, I'd like to see Weatherspoon stay healthy and put up a good year too
From what I've seen I think we are considered a pretty big favorite. Missouri has done their thing against the rest of the division, though we've beaten them in two of their three years. Mauk is back, they should be competitive. I think Tennessee is just waiting to take the division by storm at...
Haha, of course that wouldn't surprise me with how SC has gotten us recently. We've turned the tables some in the Florida rivalry, but even they found a way to beat us last year when they weren't good at all on offense. IF we can win two of those three games, which I think we do, I like our...

Don't really want him in Athens. Believe in his talent, but those turnovers are something I just don't want to deal with if he got the job. Since there's no guarantee he'll have that fixed, rather just stick with the guys we've got.
I could be eating these words in a few months if our guys...
The more I read about all the pass rushers, the more I really want him. More and more question marks are popping up about all of them, so I'd rather take his toools and production and hope he develops the power he needs
Has the physical tools for sure, would have liked to see more in college but didn't get to because of above statements. I would take Cooper above him, play for the guy with safer chance to be a very, very good player over the guy that does, imo, have the higher upside
