? about Kevin White

SO no doubt hes an athletic freak, and dominated this year, and the combine.

But Prior to this year he had 35 catches for 507 yards, he is a senior, so where was this sheer domination prior to this year? Could it be a fluke?

JC transfer to WVU only had 2 years to play. First year he was learning the offense and had a rotating door at QB (one that hid injuries really well and had a shoulder injury for much of the year in Trickett) and a struggling OLine throwing him the ball.
Would have loved to have had a great supporting cast around him but I cant say that. Some good players around him (including Mario Alford who will also prob be drafted) but our roster had a lot of holes in it his first year too.

There is always a certain amount of risk with these kids coming out of college but the guy has about everything you could want including the right attitude on and off the field. The WR class is solid this year imo and I was a big fan of Coopers game as well so... not just me being a WVU fan with White, I think he will be a really good NFL player barring any injuries.

I watched him play, think he's legit.

Granted, small sample size (being JC guy) but they are all a small sample size

White really used his size to his advantage this past season. He won a lot of jump balls, felt like most of them were in the endzone. We will really miss him and Alford. I think KW will go in the top 10 of the draft. Prolly the second wr taken.

Has the physical tools for sure, would have liked to see more in college but didn't get to because of above statements. I would take Cooper above him, play for the guy with safer chance to be a very, very good player over the guy that does, imo, have the higher upside

It seems like most of the analysis would point to a ton of potential but little tangible substance outside of this season. Regardless, he came up huge for WVU this year even when opposing teams knew he'd be getting the ball thrown his way. He seems like the type who won't get in and light it up his rookie year, but in time could be a very good #1 WR.

He is the most talented WR in this draft. If he does not succeed at the next level, it will not be due to his talent. I would worry that he does not have the mental make up. He worked his ass off in his money year, but you have to wonder about his 1st year production. Is he a guy that will work as hard after he signs the contract?
