I used to love the Razrs! I was all about the flip phones before the iPhone came out. Razr was the best 1!

Razr is still my favorite phone ive ever owned. Loved the size. It was perfect. But this iPhone is good for Hoopin'.

I'm the last holdout among my family and friends. Everyone else has a smartphone of one kind or another (mostly iPhones). They let me hear about it all of the time too, but as long my Razr works, I'm keeping it.

I liked my flip phone really well, but I also like the internet and search engine google and the maps better. I drive 50,000 a year and use the maps and gps portion a lot.

Gonna be real interesting if the season starts and Nike & Gatorade look at their marketing demographic and said demographic says they won't buy product if they support an organization with a known bigot front and center.

It's one thing for the local sponsors to pull out... but if the corporate sponsors tell the NBA they are pulling their discretionary dollars and cents, then the Association has a serious problem.

That will be the key, once corporate sponsors such as Nike or Gatorade take a stand against Sterling owning the Clippers, then the NBA would really have issues. Since that seems to not be happening, I think this process with Mr. Sterling could drag out, I've heard multiple reports that he loves litigation and is comfortable in the court setting so I look forward to seeing the outcome of this.

For the record all of the sponsors except one or two pulled their support in the playoffs earlier this year and only agreed to continue to sponsor the Clippers because the NBA appointed C.E.O. promised them that Sterling would be gone by October. In fact the Clippers had to cover up all of the advertisements in the playoffs by the demands of the sponsors in the playoffs. That does not sound like they would continue with Sterling in charge under any circumstances

I think the main reason I keep getting the iPhone is because I also have an iPad and Mac Book. I have read about Amazon's 3D phone and I might look into that the next time I'm in the market to get a new phone.

No problem bro - it was ugly thing here in Los Angeles which has been a hotspot for controversy anyways. If Sterling manages to hang on to the team til October and if he was somehow able to take control of the team again - the Clippers will be in big trouble and most likely cease to exist.

I don't think Sterling will ever regain control of the team. If the NBA loses in court and is unable to strip him of the franchise, they will revert to the lifetime ban, which should have been the end of this anyway. It accomplishes the goal of getting rid of him, while avoiding this mess being dragged out in court for months on end.

If the NBA had just left it at the lifetime ban, this is likely not even a story anymore.

I can't help but think that if he got control of the team the league would feel compelled to take the team. There's precedent for that happening... but the lawsuit would then begin in earnest.

So do any of you think that coming opening day of this upcoming season, Donald Sterling will still be the owner?

I do. In fact, I think he may own them for the entirety of the upcoming season. Sterling is trying to drag this out as long as possible and he has the money to do it. Plus, the courts tend to move slow, especially in California.

I believe the deadline for the sale of the Clippers to Ballmer is August 15th. Sterling wants to get to August 16th.

Once that happens, then the NBA is likely to move forward with voting him out. Once that starts, then he gets what he really wants, which is to drag Silver and the NBA into court.

That's what I'm thinking likely happens as well. I would not be surprised though to see him out of the blue agree to the Balmer sale.

That's interesting, so with that being said, what are the odds that Doc coaches or any of the players sit out?
