And at any rate, if you can't remember the championship, does it really even matter? I'll never understand sports fans living in the past.
This.

The only two Steelers SB wins that really matter to me are in 2005 and 2008.

I feel like you need to take out about 8 teams from the league for me to really care about the Super Bowl as something other than a gambling event.

All teams lack depth.
That's how I feel about the NBA.

Jon Gruden is one of the most overrated NFL coaches of all time. He has a total winning percentage of .540, and is viewed as a all-time great. Meanwhile, Brad Childress's was .519, and he is widely considered a bum as a head coach. Let that sink in.

The only reason Gruden is viewed so favorably is because he managed to ride the Tony Dungy built Bucs team to a Superbowl title in his first year with the team in 2002. Other than that, his accolades aren't that much better than numerous coaches that are viewed in a much lesser light than himself.

Jon Gruden was incredibly overrated in the booth and as a head coaching commodity. Guy basically wanted to hook up with Burfict during that game last year.

I think the Raiders were dumbasses to hire him, and I'll stand by that until he proves me wrong.

A guy that has been out of coaching for over a decade. A decade of not being on the sidelines while the game continued to evolve in his absence.

He never has been a great talent evaluator, and I'm predicting that everyone will quickly find out that the game has passed him by. There was a reason he was fired by the Bucs.

Definitely. The NFL is the best structured sports league in the world IMO. The number of teams, season length, number of post season spots, the draft process, the salary cap, etc. are about as good as you're going to get in professional sports.

The NBA realistically should have 16 teams with a few developmental leagues underneath it.

I like kickoffs and I hate rules that protect QBs and WRs to the extent they now do. I hate that teams can't tackle in practice more than a few times a year and am shocked that people are surprised when tackling quality suffers. I don't watch MNF intently unless my team or rival is in it, it's a great game/matchup, or my fantasy week depends on it. I hate whining about refs. I hate that they no longer show replays of most plays during games. I don't care who is in the crowd, I don't want to see the coaches or the prissy WRs and CBs talk shit or the QBs girlfriend or Father. I WANT TO SEE THE PLAY AGAIN!!!!

I saw on Twitter the other day that before Gruden the Raiders' average player age was 29 years, and he's since added 13 players 29 or older. Basically adding players he wanted 10 years ago.

Hate the CBA that limits OTA and physical contact, what a bunch of horseshit. How in the hell do you get rookies up to snuff? Find myself agreeing with Jannett views here. However for me this is a big one. Probably not unpopular amoung us fans, but had to throw that one in there, because I think it’s hurt the quality of play a lot.:mad2:

I was 4, so I never bring it up.

Bragging about history is kinda dumb when your team currently sucks.

but when they're good it's totally cool?

I enjoy low scoring, defensive battles.

For the NFL, I strongly prefer watching on tv to being at the stadium(opposite for college football, the NFL can never match the atmosphere at a big time college stadium)

I tend to not give white wide receivers any credit.

Agree with everything except the white WR thing. No love for anyone on the list?

When they're good, I'd rather talk about the current team, but that's just me.

you're also the guy who drinks mountain dew for breakfast. but that's just you.

If they danced the fucking Charleston after winning, nobody fucking cares.

It' still an NFL title and will be forever in lore in the record books........Just because it' in the past, don' take away the accomplishment.

Big name wide receivers are a dime a dozen in the NFL.

Possibly one of the most easily interchangeable parts in the entire league.
