so they didnt break the contract? I agreeNot if it isn’t guaranteed money which is probably 90% of the time.

It probably would get him more money, but it's also a character thing. I suspect Dak doesn't hold out. I'm fine with what Lawrence did. He got tagged once and immediately and happily signed the tag and told the team if you tag me twice I'm not going to be happy. If Zeke holds out he would be doing so when he is signed for two more years. That's ridiculous. I don't think he misses a game personally
I think it is much better for leagues when the people in charge run things, not the employees. It is a proven best practice. Of course there are exceptions. Why? What’s wrong with the NBA players having power too? Why should they back off and say, “Sure owners, you can have all the power. We will just sit back and do whatever you say”. Fuck that.
well. They are employees. They are literally supposed to do what they are told.

Maybe he should, but I hope he doesn't get it.I just really think Dak should hold out for one simple reason. He’s the franchise QB of the most valuable franchise in all of sports. That’s one of sports dream positions. He has made very little money as a 4th round pick and he’s literally gambling a 100 million guaranteed dollars. Why would any sane player do that especially seeing so many QBs getting severely hurt.
Nope, it is not. Not to the extent of letting the employees name their price and choose their own job.I think it’s better when companies share the power. It’s a proven best practice.
LOL please dont let them play the victim card while making 7 to 8 figures a year. That’s completely true but that doesn’t mean they have ZERO rights.

Zero rights?
Capitalism, employee tries to get as much as they can in the market and employer tries to cut costs as much as they can so they make a bigger profit. If the owners don't want players doing this they need to increase the penalties for sitting out during the CBA negotiations.
I've literally laid out every major statistic for QBs across the board and he's average in almost every single one of them. It's hilarious you pissy Cowboys' fans keep saying I'm "cherry-picking" when I'm showing every relevant QB stat and then several in-depth qualitative ones. Sorry you didn't see the results you want. If anything, you guys are the ones cherry-picking by using team metrics to say it's all Dak (4th quarter comebacks, for example) to show how great he is.You really just don't make any sense and just make stuff up. Isn't there a sand box you can go play in.
I've told you the same thing over and over. You bring up stats (and only ones Dak doesn't excel in) because you don't actually watch the games and I explained to you over and over why certain stats are lesser and the various reason. Now you are trying to tackle big boy talk which is winning games. It's two different discussions. Dak is the main reason this flawed Cowboys team has won a lot of games the last 3 years - more than the rest of their talent would allow.
a voice is different than making demands.Just because someone makes a lot of money it doesn’t mean they shouldn’t have any voice.
Nope, it is not. Not to the extent of letting the employees name their price and choose their own job.
have you ever worked for a living? You sound pretty naive of the way of things. That is capitalism but it sounds like a lot of people around here believe if you’re super wealthy you make all the rules, fuck your employees and the workers should just shut the fuck up and take it. Both sides should have their power not just one side.
a voice is different than making demands.
A voice doesnt mean you have a say.
An employee looks after one person. themselves.
Way more layers of decision making as an owner of any company.
There is a hierarchy in the workplace for a reason.
Screw him if he holds out. Stop getting into trouble, play out your deal and then come talk. Until then play or go the fuck home. The Cowboys can win the East without Zeke. At some point he needs to come back or he sits out forever. Don't let players hold you hostage.
