Pretty cool
Suggs signs his LOI. Very good chance this team will be the preseason #1.
What a perfect fit. Zags are gonna be loaded assuming Petrucev returns, which I think he will. Even if he doesn't still a top 10 team without him. They'd be my #1 heading into next year. Only team that you could argue is Nova if Bey returns. But that's not looking likely.
I think Petrusev should return. He needs a lot of work on the defensive end. Also needs to extend his range. He’ll occasionally take a free throw line jumper, but needs to take them more often.
I'll forever maintain that the 2017 Zags team will be Few's best, but if he does return this team could put that in serious jeopardy. Just loaded with depth next year. Should be fun to watch. You guys had a really good 2019 recruiting class. Outside of Timme and Watson(because of injury) did all those other guys redshift? I don't recall hearing much about them.
Ballo did (academic issue, not a bad one). Arlauskaus and Zahkarov played some and Ravet left the team.
Got ya. Must be nice to be able to redshirt a 6'10 dude. Lol. I would think Ballo and Zahkarov get some nice minutes this year with Tillie gone.
I think he wouldve come back if hr knew for sure wed have a season in cbb. Thats what worries me on Garza
Petrusev going pro overseas. Gonzaga still a top 5 team IMO though.
A little surprised, but it shows you where Gonzaga is now. Lose the conference player of the year and 3rd team All-American and you shrug and say we’ll be fine.
I've seen people say Timme and Ballo could wind up being better. Or at least in terms of potential. So not exactly a terrible back up plan. Zags are still loaded. Still have plenty of size. And might have their best PG in the Few era coming in(which is saying something because he's had a bunch of great PG's).
And people probably forget we’ll have a healthy Anton Watson next season too.
Looking forward to watching him. Hope he stays healthy.
