eh, that is more reflective of NC State's athletic department than anything else. I think State has had one of the worst ran athletic departments, when it comes to managing revenue sports, in the past thirty years.

i think Gottfried was as good as Sendek, but Sendek has him on longetivity. At the same time, you could argue that Sendek didn't deserve a sixth year at State.

I agree because the Zags are highly talented and as you said there are no clear cut favorites this year.

On paper March Madness appears to be wide open with a number of quality teams having a shot at the big prize and as usual staying healthy, getting hot, and staying hot throughout the entire tournament will be the determining factor. I look forward to watching the entire journey.

Just ran into a buzzsaw of a hot team in Texas Tech. That T Tech team was playing so well. Took a lucky UVA team to beat them.

Last year's team was really strong though. This year's team reminds me of a typical Villanova team. Great shooting from all over, but if they're cold, they could get beat by a much inferior team.

Several top 10 teams went down this past week including Baylor.
