Saw this on comments on Laker Nation. What do you guys think??

PG- Isaiah Thomas (5-7mil, much cheaper then Lowry/Bledsoe)
SG- KOBE (obviously)
SF- Chandler Parsons (can switch with Kobe if needed)
PF- Randle
C- Pau

Bench
PG- Clarkson/Marshall
SG- Bazemore (hopefully we can get him back the kids a stud)
SF- Deng (if he's cheap enough, if not any player can really due)
PF- Kelly (too much upside for the price. low risk/high reward)
C- Sacre/Hill (if we can get Hill back of course, O-rebound machine!)
this roster fits the budget to still have a big free agency splash this year and next year with enough cap room left over. depending on how well they work as a team will determine how they finish in the west. id say best case scenario 5/6th seed in the west.

Not terrible, but not a contender (unless we find a hot tub time machine for Kobe and Nash). I think it would be a fun team to watch and I agree, maybe a 4-6 seed or so.

Question Shaqdaddy...I've seen KY play maybe twice...Is Randle projected as a 4 or a 3? Does he have an off the bounce game?

A 4 without a doubt. He may only be 6'9 but he's tough, competitive and wants to win. I see him grabbing at least 10 boards a night - even over taller matchups.

His shot is a lot better than projected too. Maybe not like Kevin Love's or Kevin Durants, but a lot better than most guys in his position.

Randle didn't look too bad yesterday for a guy who was playing 20 minutes after signing his deal and hadn't practiced with the team.

Btw CL, your avi is hilarious!!

Considering he hadn't played 5 on 5 since the national championship game, he looked fine. The Lakers are on again tonight at 7:00PM PST.

Clarkson is looking solid. I like his size and aggression. Thompkins played well yesterday. I think he'll be a training camp invitee.

Went 4/9 had 10 points and a couple of boards. He also had a pretty good breakway dunk too. I've been impressed with the Thompkins kid and Clarkson as well.

We can't get too excited because it's the summer league, but there appear to be a couple of guys who at least might be decent projects.

I like what I have seen from Thompkins and Clarkson in the forst half. Both are keepers. Randle is rusty and he has be reading his own pressers because he looked a lot of out of sorts. He needs work. I like Marshall's new quick release on the jump shot but he still needs work.

Steve Kerr has none other than Alvin Gentry adn Luke Walton on his coaching staff.

I think Randle's biggest issues are that he hasn't played 5 on 5 since the NCAA tournament has yet to have a practice with the team. Hopefully, that rust will fall off quickly.

didn't realize rodrigue beaubois was on the summer league roster. haven't seen him in game much but hes my under radar pick to make team.. the years he was in dallas he was a real spark off the bench. would like to see what he can do.

I agree TJF12. What pisses me off is he would not high five Marshall on a couple of occasions and just walked right by Marshall with an attitude that his excrement has no odor. When I saw that I thought: "Geez this guy has been reading his own pressers way too much and thinks too highly of himself".

He's looked pretty decent so far. Earlier, he got beat off the dribble, but made up the ground and blocked the guys layup from behind.

Didn't see that. Yeah, I don't like that. He tries that with big club and Kobe will clock him. I have a feeling if he comes in feeling "entitled", Kobe will "explain" things to him.
