Interestingly, both Oracle Park and American Family Field (Milwaukee) have the same park factor of 97 over the past three years for right-handed hitters, meaning that they are similarly below-average hitter's parks for righties. I know the question is how will Adames adjust to hitting at Oracle Park? His batted ball profile shows a heavy pull rate (45.2% in 2024 per FG) and he pulls the ball in the air about 25% of the time. That is the best outcome in baseball so long as he continues to pull the ball in the air at a good rate, his power numbers should be fine. I think righties who use more of the middle of the field tend to see their power numbers dip a little bit at Oracle but Adames is more of a pull-heavy hitter.

Again, PacBell is as much about the cool, wet air slowing the flight of fly balls and making pitches break nastier

Sure, but park factor takes all that into account. It looks at what all hitters do at Oracle vs. other parks.

I am not super familiar with the Mets lineup, but I don’t know that Soto is at the Bonds level. Today, only Ohtania and maybe Judge are at THAT level. But both of them have murderer’s rows surrounding them.

I'm just saying the Mets line-up has to give pitchers the feeling of Bonds treatment when they pick to Soto because he will just get walked if the Mets remaining lineup can't do anything... I do think the current line-up is ok but they do need to step up their game

Former Giant Duffy delivers ringing endorsement of Adames signing

I wonder if Duffy also contacted St Louis in the beginning of the season and gave an endorsement of Crawford when they signed him (who by the way The Cards released).

Why hasn’t anyone told us this before now? He is going to retire soon, I just know it.
