If 10 is too much, go with 5.

I'm a 90's kid, and NASCAR was the biggest deal for me in the late 90's and early 2000's, and though I never went away, it's a bigger deal to me now than it has been in years. I never saw Petty, Pearson and Allison, so they won't be on my list.

Here goes:

Favorites:

1. Kevin Harvick(I was a huge Dale Sr fan as a kid, but I'm 29 now and I've been a Harvick fan for 19 years now, I think it's time to put him at the top of my list)
2. Dale Earnhardt Sr.
3. Tony Stewart
4. Ricky Rudd
5. Ward Burton
6. Dale Jarrett
7. Rusty Wallace
8. Bobby Labonte
9. Elliott Sadler
10. Jimmy Spencer(Mostly for his run ins with Kurt Busch)

Least favorites:

1. Jeff Gordon(Actually really like him as an announcer)
2. Denny Hamlin
3. Sterling Marlin(Which sucks because I am a MOPAR man, but he was just such a prick in person)
4. Mark Martin(Brett Favre of NASCAR)
5. Michael Waltrip(TBH, his time as an announcer probably gets him here more than his time as a driver)
6. Greg Biffle
7. Kyle Busch
8. Joey Logano
9. Juan Pablo Montoya
10. Robby Gordon(Just a waste of talent and a terrible teammate when he had teammates)

Davey Allison
Mark Martin
Ricky Rudd
Darrell Waltrip
Dale Jarrett
Geoff Bodine
David Pearson
Richard Petty
Robby Gordon
Swerv'in Irvan
Alan Kulwicki
Jeff Burton

Least...
Mike Skinner, never should have had a ride.
Jeff Gordon, Talented....and the luckiest ever.

Mostly, Dale Earnhardt. Highly talented but NASCAR's golden child who was allowed to get away with things that others were not when his talent wasn't enough.

Earnhardt wasn't allowed to get away with things. He got rough driving penalties, he just usually overcame them to win the race out of spite.

He’s not relevant enough to hate, and I know he arguably has the worst equipment in the garage, but Quinn Houff if the worst driver I’ve ever seen. Being the slowest car in the track is fine, but he’s always in the way of lead lapped cars and manages to lose control of the slowest car on the track

Hate hate Dale and Jeff along with Richard Petty?

DW and Smoke there too.

You just hate the guys that won most of the races other than Jimmie Johnson and Kyle Busch?

What’s the Bobby Hamilton Jr backstory?

All he ever was was a decent Busch series driver

And that shit Joey pulled on Chase Elliott Sunday, I guarantee he wouldn’t have pulled that with Harvick or Busch, and if he tried that with Tony Stewart, he’d have a wrecked car and a fight after the race

Earnhardt wasn't allowed to get away with things.

Bullshit.

There were MANY late race bumps that were within the Earnhardt rules but not within the rules placed on anyone else.

But he put butts in seats, so all was ok.

The bump and run was legal for everyone, he was just the only one to do it often.

Some late race bump and runs were legal for some people.

They were always legal for Dale no matter the consequence and they were never legal on Dale.

Dale was NASCAR's poster boy and the rules did not apply to him.

I just watched a replay of a race from the early 90’s where has was penalized a lap for spinning out Greg Sacks. He made the lap up under green and went on to win the race.

Jeff Gordon was known to use the chrome horn too, as was Rusty Wallace and numerous others

Oh, he was talented.
Gordon was a little prick. And lucky too. I remember seeing Gordon smack the wall so hard he had concrete embedded all around the bead of both right side tires with like 10 laps to go. Never lost any air. made up like 5 positions to win.
Drive through debris...no cut tires ever.
Bodine was a short track pitbull too.
