Fight me.
I don't think he is saying anything bad about Pesci...
No, I know. I was just stating my opinion. The fight me part is only used jovially as DeNiro is often held in really high regard... and rightfully so. DeNiro is fantastic in many movies, I just think Pesci is better overall. But again, I have not see the Godfather movies so who knows, I am sure DeNiro is great in part 2 as well.I don't think he is saying anything bad about Pesci...
Eh, I didn't think that was too bad. Its not anywhere near as tough as getting through Cloud Atlas and it has similar logistical issues with actors being out of their element.irishman?
That shitty movie with a 100 year old deniro that I'm supposed to believe beat someone up?
Working on a courtroom list now. Having a little trouble as I want to focus on movies where the courtroom setting is important. I want to have Fracture or The Firm, but can't really justify it as there isn't too much courtroom scenes.
This goes in the greatest courtroom movie

To each their own.I almost feel like Chinatown leans a bit too far into noir for this type of list. Its arguably one of the most important movies for this type of genre, though.
Lots of overlap with crime, noir, courtroom, action, western imo. I'm not fully sure where to draw the line.
Absolutely but always an entertaining sub-category of crime moviesThe Ocean's movies are 100000% heist movies, the entire plot is driven around it, hence the difference in it compared to Goodfellas.
Oh sure, heist movies could be a category all its own.Absolutely but always an entertaining sub-category of crime movies
Agreed. Truthfully Chinatown is probably only a couple of spots off my list. Great movie with Jack in his prime. I just think some of the other movies have a hair more depth to them.To each their own.
For sure. I should have put it in my honorable mentions, but spaced.Agreed. Truthfully Chinatown is probably only a couple of spots off my list. Great movie with Jack in his prime. I just think some of the other movies have a hair more depth to them.
