I'm sorry, losing to Pineda is the last slap in the face. Z couldn't even win a trade for a guy who had a bum arm. He needs to be canned. We're ruining Zunino, Ackley just suck, and Smoak was an absolute bust. Z needs to be canned. He sucks. He's the worst GM in baseball. It all goes back to that article they published a couple of years ago. Looking at this team it all makes complete sense. But his parting blow will be some ridiculous trade involving Walker for a bunch of other guys who can't hit. Then he'll be fired and we'll be more screwed than we are right now. I really can't see any difference between this guy and Bavasi at this point.

So about the whole magical mound issue... Pineda never had issues neither did Guaipe or Wilson for the Yankees.
Felix just didn't have his best stuff, the Yankees figured him out on this particular day the second time through the lineup.

Pretty much... Felix just wasn't a King tonight... We can't expect him to be dominant every time he takes the mound... It's tough because our offense is so bad... Our pitchers feel like they have to dominate every game knowing they aren't going to get the run support....

I just don't see why not. I know there's the whole injury concern with Gutierrez, and he hasn't gotten any younger since we last saw him, but he has a .250+ career average, looks like he's doing well in Tacoma, and he won't look like a dying slug in the outfield.

the thing is he did for the first 3 innings, almost looked like he was due for something special. He just completely lost it and walked too many people. I've never seen Felix lose it like that.
