Whatever Jack Z did FAILED MISERABLY. Any GM with a half of a brain wouldn't let a player who is batting .188, and has shown no signs of real improvement stick around. Oh hey let's spend 240 million on one player and expect ALL the issues to be fixed. Then the next year spend 50+ million one good bat and then think the team is going to contend. NOPE Fire Jack Z please.

There is only so much a Manager can do with the team he is given. That's why I hate when coaches get the blunt of the blame for the product on the blame.

Didn't' think I would be saying this but it's time to bring up Guiterrez. He's hitting very well in AAA right now, better outfielder than Ackley. We can maybe, possibly get a couple weeks of decent hitting until Guti get's hurt.

I've been saying this for a few weeks... We don't use Weeks very much... Why not replace Weeks with Guti? Guti could be a decent lead off hitter for a while... We need a spark... Guti hasn't been bad at this level... We can't just keep him down at AAA when we have 4 guys hitting under .200...
