Whatever Jack Z did FAILED MISERABLY. Any GM with a half of a brain wouldn't let a player who is batting .188, and has shown no signs of real improvement stick around. Oh hey let's spend 240 million on one player and expect ALL the issues to be fixed. Then the next year spend 50+ million one good bat and then think the team is going to contend. NOPE Fire Jack Z please.

There is only so much a Manager can do with the team he is given. That's why I hate when coaches get the blunt of the blame for the product on the blame.

Looking at the box score and seeing how many earned runs Felix has given up has made me feel more hopeless in regards to this team than I have all season for some reason.

It's just one game, but Jesus Christ this is demoralizing.

Also don't correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Cano primarily a two hitter for the Yankees and became a three hitter for the Mariners?

Cano has only hit 2nd in 113 career games.

Including his career with the Mariners, these are the two places in the lineup Cano has hit the most:

3rd: 384 G
5th: 327 G

Back to slaving away researching. Maybe by the grace of god, in 2 hours when I check ESPN the Mariners will have won.

Well at least I'm not the only one having a ridiculous over-reaction to this game. For some reason I felt like it was just the adderal and 3 cups of coffee.

Why I kept saying I was "cautiously optimistic" about this team and all the hype coming into the season. It's been a train wreck.

Every pitchers motion is different. The landing not affecting Pineda doesn't mean it didn't affect felix, because it clearly did watching him ask for a pick, carve at the mound, and completely lose immaculate command immediately when that's never been his MO.

And I don't get why the roof wasn't closed to begin with? It has been raining off and on the whole day. We've seen days where the roof was closed all day due to overcast skies. Not saying that may be the case, but you could clearly see that Felix was affected by the rain and the slippery mounds. He was not happy after that.
