Keeping this in a spoiler tag just in case people don't know how the OG series ended and it reveals Magento's role in this series.

Don't know if this was public knowledge before but it's been confirmed that Magneto will be the head of the X-Men after what happened to Xavier. So at least for the time being he wont be the main antagonist to start the series

I kind of remember something like that...and I don't know if this is a reboot to better utilize that...but could be right...I never read the X-Men comics as a kid

Not genosha

Genosha was a tropical island that determined that mutant powers were resources to be extracted for govt benefit

I was referring to asteroid M

not sure how excited i am for this look.

One of the coolest features that i forgot about until i recently rewatched was how his suit was made of metal so he could basically redress himself with a simple thought.

I didn’t watch the original. I tried watching it about a year or so back, and it didn’t grab me in the slightest. I am not going out of my way for this one.

It's a nostalgia thing for sure... you had to have watched these cartoons as a kid.

I was the perfect age for this show when it was at its heyday... elementary school-ish... Xmen was "must-see" Saturday morning viewing for me.

I was already in college when it originally dropped, so I was star crossed on this one, I guess.

Holy Shit

While I still enjoyed the 3rd episode, they just burned thru an entire arc in one episode. Like that easily could have been half a season, maybe even a full season.

agreed.. but there is still a lot they can do with the unanswered stories... and probably easy to get rid of the baby. so we can have full Jean Gray as well...

also, as fun as this is, there is no reason to think this show will have many seasons... not the way the marvel universe works... id say at max 3...

and sinister is too scary of a villain to be an entire season... I don't think they want another HORROR tv show... even if Legion did well for a while...
