To me if you're disappointed a heel won it was effective booking.

Mahal wasn't ready when he won the world title but he's worthy of the US title IMO. Hopefully this is a slowburn for Rusev winning the US title over the summer

Wasn't disappointed a heel won. I just think Mahal was not a good heel champion. If KO or SZ were in that match, they would be good. I wanted Miz to win his. I want Bliss to win hers, but I want a great push for Nia Jax. Alexa Bliss is a great heel champion. Miz is a great heel champion. I want Reigns to turn heel. He would be great as a heel. KO and SZ are great heel champions. Jinder Mahal is not very good as a heel champion.

I like Harper and Rowin, but I want Usos to win. I think they would be great heel champions.

My take is that Mahal's act and wrestling style was a poor fit for the main event but he'll be a solid mid card title holder. For a show this long I think you need peaks and valleys and Mahal pinning Rusev was a valley to set up Stephanie tapping out to Rhonda in the next match.
I didn't have an issue with it.
