A lot of competition for roster spots.

He’s really good on defense. I think he’s going to make the club. Also from Shawn McFarland:
Jared Walsh keeps hitting: Consider Walsh, a 2021 All-Star, one of the more intriguing non-roster veterans in Texas’ camp.
The 30-year-old recorded a single and a walk on Wednesday to raise his spring training slash line to .444/.545/.444 in four games. He hit .277 with 29 home runs for the Los Angeles Angels in 2019, but nuerological disorders slowed his career in 2022 and 2023.
Texas already has a pretty good first baseman in the Silver Slugger, Gold Glove-winning Nathaniel Lowe, but with a competition for time at the designated hitter position ongoing, Walsh could potentially play his way into some level of consideration.
“Good at bats, he’s a good defender over there,” Bochy said. “He’s had a good spring, too. He has a lot of energy, it’s been fun to watch him. I’ve seen him from the other side, he’s done a good job.”
That's right. We the late innings feature guys like Hernandez, Ornelas, Wendzel, Church, Teodo and Y. Rodriguez it really gives you a chance to win a lot of games.Winning spring training games doesn’t tell you much about players individually, but it should tell you that you have a deep farm system.
How common is being world champs?March is here. Same month as opening day.
also couldn’t help but notice our first game is at 6:30 on opening day. How common is that?
Depends if you ask a ranger fan or a 100+ year old Yankee fanHow common is being world champs?
Good showing for Heaney. I want nothing to do with Anderson after seeing him pitch in person.
Zeke was a life saver when Seager went out the 1st half of last year.
Diego Castillo has looked good so far.I sure hope Armstrong or Duffy don’t make the team. Haven’t been impressed with their pitching.
I agree. It looks like that’s going to be a good acquisition.Diego Castillo has looked good so far.
