I heard that Bally wants to cut back on all much they are paying the Rangers. And the Rangers are saying no.

Heard today that if Bally doesn’t broadcast the Rangers games, that Apple TV wants to get in the business of broadcasting baseball. I hope not, I would like to see a local station broadcast the games.

The bankruptcy court rejected Bally’s request to pay a drastically reduced negotiated payout to Cleveland and Texas. Texas is owed $110M

I wish they would go to a local broadcast station and have a streaming or cable option as well.
