I wonder if these failed or successful TV deals are a part of the equation
But whoever gets Ohtani automatically gets a lot of outside generated revenue

Can you image a sports network not wanting to cut a deal with the team that gets him. The team would get beat up with the Competitive Balance tax but would more than make up with outside generated revenue
