From what I’ve heard the trade talks have dried up for nowI look for free agents and trades this offseason. Probably will lean heavier on free agents though.

I think those usually heat up during the winter meetings. From what I’ve heard the trade talks have dried up for now

Just 19 more days.We will see
Langford, Carter and Garcia will man our outfield. Taveras is the odd man out. From an outsider perspective
Now would be a good time to sell high on Garcia
With Langford coming in hot
He’s already 30 pushing 31

Garcia is cheap for the next few years. I’d just keep him at this point. From an outsider perspective

He's still in good shape and what he did in the playoffs is hard to beat even though there is no guarantee he repeats it. And he drives in runs. Carter as we saw has issues with lefties and we are not guaranteed of what Langford can do at the MLB level even though I expect good results. From an outsider perspective

Speaking of Scherzer….Was it Scherzer or Verlander who already got into it with the umpires over the pitch clock earlier in the season???
I think his teres major injury was fine when he started pitching again in the postseason. The last time he pitched he developed a back issue. Not sure how long that was supposed to last. That might be fine now.Speaking of Scherzer….
is he expected to be ready by opening day? I know his injury was bothering him in the playoffs, but it was only expected to be a 12 week injury. I suppose he could’ve aggravated or made it worse in the post season tho.
I wish the team gave injury updates in the offseason.
If I remember correctly, it was Max.Was it Scherzer or Verlander who already got into it with the umpires over the pitch clock earlier in the season???
There were times this year when our hitters struggled mightily for prolonged periods. I am not looking to get rid of our hitting coaches, but I won't lose any sleep if they get hired away, either. I do hope they stay.Think we will keep our hitting coaches? They did an amazing job last year. I mean to ask is another team going to steal them away?
His postseason velo never got back to 97-98 as I recall posting it.I think his teres major injury was fine when he started pitching again in the postseason. The last time he pitched he developed a back issue. Not sure how long that was supposed to last. That might be fine now.
It certainly will be a lot nore fun to play the Angels. So Wash for some reason did not play Profar as needed and overused Ogando and did not sub for Nellie and had too loyalty to some bets but
The Halos are a better team today and will be much better at fundamentals
His pressers will be must see
Baseball became more fun today
Montgomery's was down also. The first few games after Eovaldi came back his was down too.His postseason velo never got back to 97-98 as I recall posting it.
