Bally Sports and Diamond Sports Group appear set to step away from broadcasting baseball.

With a new TV deal coming, that might make the Rangers spend a little more aggressively this offseason. I am not sure how long it will take to work out a deal, but if the negotiations go into next season, the Rangers would certainly want to put their best possible foot forward in the early part of the season.

Same here. Just like the Rangers to drag it out.
And we’re still not the Dodgers, Yankees, Boston etc so everything revolves around them

You would think the delay is because they are wanting to trade some guys to create more room. Or, maybe the Rangers just like to do things like this at the last moment. Some teams made moves a few hours ago.

I was thinking Wendzel had a good shot at being moved. He has value.
