He left some cookies. Phil’s didn’t execute. Wednesday night it was a case of Astros pitching being filthy. But last night I thought the Phil’s offense let them off the hook time and time again.

That was one hell of a play by McCormick in center. Everybody is raving about the Mancini play but let’s be honest. He’s holding the runner and he pivots on the pitch and he doesn’t even have to move the ball is in his glove. Just some bad luck on that.

Phil’s are in deep doo doo. I can’t see them winning two in Houston. Tip of the cap to the Astros though. That’s a hell of a team. Their rookie SS is gonna win MVP of the World Series and the Phil’s rookie SS is lost at the plate looking for his first hit of the World Series in Game 6.

I would much rather see them take those pitches to right field, but it is what it is.
