Was he the little kid who as a Giants batboy got picked up and carried out of harms way by JT Snow just before a play at the plate about 20 yrs or so ago?
Correct

Anyhow...props to Dusty B. for finally getting that WS ring as a skipper.

Yup. With the exception of the series between the Giants and Reds, I've rooted for Dusty to win ever since he left the Giants.

Nah.

They’ve won two World Series in five years. And have left millions of whiny titty babies in their wake.

Exactly. It's baseball, There is so much cheating that I doubt that any team has a fully clean history. The teams that the Astros faced in 2017 were probably cheating, too.

Congrats Houston fans. Just an incredibly well run organization.

Yeah they are pretty good at talent evaluation. A lot of teams would be building their franchise around Carlos Correa. They were like "nah, we got a guy"

Was he like 3 years old when he nearly died at home plate?
Yep, he was 3 1/2, happened in the 2002 Series.

Dusty really should have known better, I get having your son out there but that's way too young obviously.

I remember watching live, over half a lifetime ago for me. Guess I never realized he was that much of a little kid at the time.

That’s on someone other than Dusty tbh. Not sure what the organizational threshold should be for in game dugout duty, but you should be able to tie your own shoes.

Yeah I remember it too. Found a photo of it, right as Snow is scooping him up, got it in the rec room in a little frame LOL

Sure the team should have said no but they probably wanted to let him have it...he should have thought it through.
