:thumb:.... sure

In nearly 3,000 plate apprearances from 2004 through 2010, Yadier Molina slugged .361. In the next three years, he slugged .481 and raged to the point that he spit in the face of an umpire.

Probably just supplements from GNC...

Good work cherry picking. Good job including his rookie season, but totally discounting the last 3 seasons. Did he just decide to stop juicing for shits and gigs? Was Yadi suspended for juicing?

Also of the last 3 years, 3 of his highest years of strike outs. So apparently that whole "steroid" thing isn't working too well for him

Cherry picking? It was a 3,000 PA sample. Hell, if I wanted to cherry pick, I'd have just talked about his 2010 season when his SLG% was the second lowest in his seven year career.

Also, over the last three years, his SLG is 28 points higher than it was in those first 3,000 PAs.

The guy is fantastic behind the dish. But give him his due, he's nothing no to sneeze at at the plate since he started juicing, either.

Pre-2011... Albert in the lineup.
Post-2011... no Albert. Different approach. maybe you're unaware, but a good hitter does what is necessary.

Yadi didn't need to be a big producer when they had Albert, a young Holliday, and Berkman. All of them were gone of slowly declining (Holliday) after the 2011 season.

If I had to guess, he didn't stop. It's just that now he's a 30+ year old catcher with 1,600 games played.

Right... the roids were just more effective his 28/29 year old years than they were the last 4. Where he hit 36 home runs (28-29 year old years) compared to 23 over the next 4....

"For 3,000 PAs, Yadi had an OPS+ because the Cards didnt need his bat. Then Pujols left and he knew it was time to OPS+ 130."

You guys are a trip.

Is any of that wrong? Was Albert not a part of that team? Was Lance Berkman not on the roster? Was that not the prime of Holliday's career? Look at Molina's walk numbers compared to the next few years, then try and enter an actual conversation

It's so funny how guys like you can't even consider the possibility that a guy could be juicing despite evidence that ours certainly at least raise questions.

"NO WAY!! Not MY Yadi!"

lolz

I've considered that Pujols was juicing. Just like I considered that Holliday was on roids. But Yadi has always been a pudgy dude who didn't do shit hitting wise until the rest of the offense left.
