Do you think the Oilers will release McDavid to participate in the tourney?
Finally the goaltending should be a strength as well.As for Team Canada I like the look of that team. No huge star power but I think they'll ice a really solid team this year.
I particularly like the mobility they should have on D.
I would have liked to have seen Tyler Soy on the list though.
Only 8 good ole Ontarya boys? Same number of da visor wearin frenchies.
damn, I've been so busy with moving, work, and being distracted by the sideshow that was the US Presidential election, I completely forgot about the upcoming tourney...absolutely some of my favorite hockey to watch. Good luck (though I doubt you'll need it) you Canadian fucks
really? it certainly seems you canuckleheads always do well. or maybe it's just my feeble, elderly mind conflating WJHC, World Championships, Olympics, etc. to make it seem like more. and I did forget about the Finns (and the Swedes too I guess).Canada has only won once (2015) in the past seven years (USA and Finland both have two gold medals in that same time frame). I think it's pretty cool that this tourney is wide open and as many as five teams have a realistic shot of winning.
