Obviously we have to adjust for era for a fair comparison.

I think for most fans it's just easier to go with the numbers not try and figure all that era stuff.

Obviously Jim Brown isn't averaging 5yards a carry in this era but.....who cares?

Historians give major props to Don Hutson, everybody knows he never faced black cornerbacks who could run with him, but,,,,,who cares?

As you do nothig here but follow me around, hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Waiting for the meltdown. Don’t want to miss it.

So after you have your meltdown and leave, how will you come back? Will you continue to be the way you are now or will you recreate yourself in hopes you can fool people into thinking it’s not you. Maybe a milder type poster.

Starting right now either talk the topic of the thread or you will be ignored, you need help.

You can’t ignore people. You love the attention. You need the attention. It doesn’t matter that it’s negative attention, It helps you get through the day.

Most fans on this board, in fact I'd say that's probably all or very nearly all who read this, understand how era effects raw numbers in the NFL and renders comparing raw totals of players from different eras meaningless.

This is where all pro, pro bowls, HOF come in. Who dominated their era?

There has never been any player more dominate at a position than Don Hutson. Many have him beside Rice on the All Time team. We all know the situation he was in and take that into consideration. All football fans undestand the era thing, but the numbers are the numbers and no era had better athletes than the present one, as they get bigger and faster.

Every team has their franchise leaders, the era just doesn't matter, the numbers are the numbers.

Would ya believe Sam "Bam" Cunningham is the Pats all time leading rusher?
