The WR Mayhew really wanted last season was Algohlar. He had no eye for talented pass catchers at all.
What position did he have an eye for?

Which is why we all hated your Ebron pick and didn't want any WR.
Cam has done more with A LOT less.
Who has Cam had to throw too? Greg Olsen, a washed up Steve Smith, Benjamin or Funchess.
Stafford- arguably greatest WR of all time, elite #2 WR Tate, top 20 draft pick in Pettidrops, top 10 pick in Ebron, Reggie Bush.

Ok so Carolina is winning only because of Cam and the Lions are losing only because of Stafford? Got cha!
I'll bite. Let's see your research.
He should get NO carries. One last thing. abdullah needs to be getting A LOT more carries. He's clearly the most talented RB on the roster and it's not even close.
Well, you think Stafford sucks. I don’t. I think the defense sucks. You don’t. We just have to disagree there.
We made it to the playoffs with a really good offense and a terrible defense one year. We lost in a shoot-out and our weakness was exposed. We also made it to the playoffs again with a really good defense and a terrible offense. We lost at the end, as Staff gets crunched because our best blocker whiffed.
All I’m saying is that a decent Oline and a solid defense could really help this team. Everything has to come together in the same year though.
You couldn't get some people to admit that at gunpoint. There is no season to throw away when you're 2-7. Mayhew threw the season away when he lost Suh.
Even with the Ebron pick, the defense shouldn't be that bad.
2 games versus Arizona and Chicago we had 5 and 3 TOs and gave up 40 ppg. 2 games against Seattle and GB had 1 TO each and gave up 14.5 ppg. The rest were in the middle. 2 or 3 TOs and 25 or so ppg.
It should be obvious that TOs by the offense end up in more points for opponents and more losses for us. Although the latter is more variable
0-3 Lions had a + TO ratio going into that week 4 AZ game. D sucks cause they lost Suh. Not cause of the O. O sucked last year too and the D carried us to 11 wins.
O still the same, D is what changed drastically.
Scale of 1 to 10, how happy were guys after that game? I would like to think that i was just about as happy as you were. I'd say about an 8.7, no that just Green Gay Peckers lost, but in their house, and from a divisional opponent. Good stuff indeed.
