didn't know my comment upset somebody's delicate sensibilities

grow a pair Sally ................. SHEESH

Because going 14-27 is the same as going 18-25 with 3 drops and 3 throwaways. If there was a purpose for a thumbs down button, your post was it.

Wilson was 18/25 for 205 yards and 2 TD's.

Solid but not MVP worthy.

Depends on the game. QBs have gotten the MVP for worse performances than that. In this particular game I have no problem with Malcolm Smith getting MVP though.

Totally agree, it was a team effort.

you had to give the MVP to a defensive player. that defense came to play and shut down Manning and the entire broncos offense

Yes, but arguably Kam was a bigger impact when the game was still in question. Yeah yeah, that was for maybe a quarter or so.

Do you want me to go throw by throw with his incompletions? Because there weren't more. There were three drops (the one in the endzone on the second FG drive, the Harvin one that Denver challenged as a lateral, and the Willson one in the second half) and three throwaways.

Plus, the first bad throw, that's seven incompletions.

So actually, you are full of shit. You were wrong about Russell. Now leave.

Nope, I don't want you to do anything Smart. Other than issue me orders. I look to you for guidance. (He did have atleast one bad throw though, so you're homer bias has yet again led you to be wrong. Very very very wrong.)

they should have done a big time first and awarded the entire defense the MVP instead..but they choose to single people out

Our Team is a group effort. It's not a one man show. I'm just fine with a well deserving member of our D getting this award. Wilson can get the MVP next year.

:wtf:

It's called Most Valuable PLAYER for a reason. If it were Most Valuable Team or Group then maybe you have an argument here.

because completing 4 more passes with 2 less attempts for the same net result is enough to catapult him from so so to MVP?

talk about deserving a thumbs down

Smart is a bigger Russell homer than any Seattle fan. I guess 206 yards is the same thing as 246 yards, too.

I thought Harvin was going to get it to be honest but I see why he didn't get it.. and sadly the entire defense can't get it

I dont even understand his motivation. How many years did Wilson even play for the Badgers?

Without question Kam should've been the MVP. He had the pick and his hit on Thomas essentially scrapped Denver's entire gameplan.

Thomas is still wandering around East Rutherford looking for his soul after what Kam did to him.

true but they did award co-mvp's in 77 so they could have done that. Maybe Avril and Chancellor but I'm okay with what they went with. It's good to have a lesser known guy get a little appreciation for a change.

He definitely made a statement with that hit on Thomas didn't he. I think the first play from scrimmage in that game set the tone for the whole game. At the time I was cheering but thinking, Manning will settle them down and it was just a blip but that next 3 and out pretty much sealed the deal. Pretty sad when you could see the outcome before the first qtr was over.
