because completing 4 more passes with 2 less attempts for the same net result is enough to catapult him from so so to MVP?

Yes, you dipshit. Missing one pass is more impressive than missing ten passes. Is it really that tough to understand?

Nope, I don't want you to do anything Smart. Other than issue me orders. I look to you for guidance. (He did have atleast one bad throw though, so you're homer bias has yet again led you to be wrong. Very very very wrong.)

And I was responding to a post where you said he likely made more than one bad throw. He didn't. He made one the entire game. I'm not sure why you struggle with English so much, but "one" is less than "more than one."

For the most part, I generally like your posts but your Wilson obsession is a little out of control. He most certainly did not deserve the MVP. Not even close. He managed the game well and didn't make any huge mistakes. That's not what wins you an MVP. I will give him credit for coming up big on 3rd downs but that still doesn't merit an MVP.

Just be happy he is a solid NFL QB and relax a bit with him being the greatest thing that has ever graced planet earth.

I said "Prolly", not "likely". Not sure if you read the entire thread. I was responding to a fellow Wilson honk of yours who asked the question: "Did he even have a bad throw all game?" I look forward to your next round of non-sense.

I dont even understand his motivation. How many years did Wilson even play for the Badgers?

If you had even he slightest eye for football or comprehension the human spirit, you would understand why I think Russell is special. I thought it before he got to Wisconsin, but to see it up close is something else. When you see a legend, you know it.

And after years of people calling me a Russell homer and Russell doing everything i've said he would, it's amazing that people still doubt him. I'm only a Russell homer in the sense that I saw greatness standing right in front of me, and didn't dismiss it because he was three inches shorter than conventional wisdom said was possible.

How does that remotely disprove my point? He didn't "prolly" have more than one bad throw (assuming that "prolly" means probably). You were wrong.

I think Avril should have been MVP. I already said in this thread that Russell shouldn't have been MVP. That doesn't change the fact that Russell put up the best numbers of any QB who didn't win MVP and certain quarterbacks (cough....Peyton Manning....cough) won their Super Bowl MVPs when they were far less deserving than Russell.

So if Avril is your pic for MVP what are we debating here? The fact that Manning won MVP when he didn't deserve it, so Russell should as well? I think there is still time for Wilson to win an MVP and a Super Bowl MVP. He's a heady young player and has the world ahead of him. He is going to be good for a long time.

I said Wilson played excellent back on page one and he's still mad at me. :noidea:

:agree: That is what I've been trying to tell people all year. It seems that in this modern day hype filled world, we want to crown every QB great too soon. RW is a very good young QB on an excellent team and has a bright future. That should be praise enough for any fan. Let's not crown these guys with the "greatness" label too soon. Also, fans need to quit buying the hype that the QB is all that matters in football, despite what the NFL Network and ESPN keep trying to sell us.

P.S. Anybody with half a brain knows that Peyton didn't deserve his SB MVP in 06 but 2 wrongs won't make it right. I'm glad that a defensive player won yesterday. I thought it should have been Avril but I'm okay with the result. Definitely not some great injustice.

18/25 206, 2 TDs no INTs 123.1 QB rating. 3 carries, 26 yards. 0 sacks. I don't care how good the rest of the team plays. Unless you play you an all time great, memorable game, a QB with those stats wins the MVP every time. ROBBED. Period.

I'm a Russel Wilson fan and no, he was not the MVP. He'll have better games.....

Yes, the fact that I gave you a thumbs down for a content-free response where you admit you don't understand math that a three year old can understand makes me a pussy (10>1).

If every thumbs-down somehow makes me a pussy, does the fact that I have 2.5 thumbs up for every thumbs down mean I have a huge penis? Or does it not work like that? Hell, maybe in your world you think 1 is more than 2.5. Is that how you convince yourself you are more of a man?

funny but with much bravado that you admit to being the pussy I will give you credit for that.

Here's the bottom line. You got your panties all twisted in a bunch because there a more than enough posters who aren't in love with RW like you are. I got nothing but love for Wilson and feel he is going to be in the top tier of QB's in the near future but to state he got "robbed" out of the MVP for his slightly above average game stats is going over the top. You also don't realize that while he had more completions than Favre did in the 97 SB, you obviously neglected the fact that he also had more YDs. Both threw for 2 TDs and no pics and that is the true measure of success not completion %

Additionally, the fact that you feel you have to demonstrate your manhood to anyone, especially on a public forum just shows how insecure you are in real life. Pity

Stop. Russel already forwarded me your penis photos. There's no need to make this any worse than you already have.

Before the game I thought MVP would be Peyton Manning. After the game, many are still making that argument. Just not in the same way !

I still stand by my thoughts. Highway robbery. QBs that win the MVP with those stats: Peyton, Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Ben, Eli, Rivers, Luck, RGIII, Stafford, Romo, Kaep, Flacco, Ryan, Newton, etc. etc. All win the MVP in that situation, and all of you know that for a fact.

No, we don't since that's speculation.

Most Seahawk fans aren't upset about him not winning the MVP. They know that this game was more about the job their defense did on the Broncos offense than anything Wilson did. He completed only 18 passes for 200 yards and a TD.

Hell, Big Ben did a better job in SB XLIII with the come back win to get us our 6th ring but we're OK with him not getting it.

Wilson didn't get it because he didn't deserve it.
