No, we don't since that's speculation.

Most Seahawk fans aren't upset about him not winning the MVP. They know that this game was more about the job their defense did on the Broncos offense than anything Wilson did. He completed only 18 passes for 200 yards and a TD.

Hell, Big Ben did a better job in SB XLIII with the come back win to get us our 6th ring but we're OK with him not getting it.

Wilson didn't get it because he didn't deserve it.

I agree. But I'm just saying that any big name QB would've gotten it. So by that logic, Wilson was robbed. Wilson is still not considered a "Big name" QB. That's sure to change in the near future once the make up of Seattle's team changes and he starts to be the focal point of the offense. He'll get his credit soon enough. I just think he should already be getting it. Just my opinion. Luck and RGIII get it. Why not Wilson?

Pretty sure Wilson would not trade his Superbowl ring for all the attention Luck and RG111 are getting. Wilson will soon be making lots of endorsements. He is the perfect spokesman.

I still stand by my thoughts. Highway robbery. QBs that win the MVP with those stats: Peyton, Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Ben, Eli, Rivers, Luck, RGIII, Stafford, Romo, Kaep, Flacco, Ryan, Newton, etc. etc. All win the MVP in that situation, and all of you know that for a fact.

Um, no. On a day where your defense shuts down the number one offense OF ALL TIME and completely undresses one of the top QB's to ever play the game, you simply can't give the MVP to the QB. Wilson had a great game, but HE didn't win the game. If anything this is a rare time when there wasn't anyone so glaring that anyone was worthy of an individual award. That was a total team domination. It still required someone from the defense to get it because they nearly pitched a shut out against Manning and that high powered offense.

That was one of the greatest defensive games in the history of the Super Bowl. How on earth could you give the MVP to someone not on it? THAT would have had people up in arms.

Again I say, Agreed. Don't know how many times I have to say it. Just saying, that if it was a big name QB with those stats, they would've gotten the MVP. And that means that they robbed Wilson of big name QB status. But joke's on them, because he is a big name now with the ring.

If it was a big name QB and the game was the same I'd still say it belongs to the defense.

Don't get me wrong, the offense did well and Wilson was a stud. Think about how young he is and to be that cool and clutch on the worlds biggest stage. He had a great game, but the defense had a game for the ages.

Wilson would've won most years except this year it needed to be someone on the defense. The defense dominated so much that we would have won with Tjack. Harvin's first good game made him just about as worthy as Wilson imo. The super bowl mvp vote was a direct result of the seahawks building the most complete team and all making contributions.

Apologies, is Big Ben not a big name QB?

By your rule he should have gotten it with that last TD drive, going 90 yards in 2 minutes.

And, as a Packers fan pointed out, Brett Farve didn't get it and he had similar stats in his SB win.

I don't see Wilson as a game manager ..his skills are better than that. But his performance in the SB came across as such.

Yes. That was the worst robbery I've ever seen. Ben truly deserved that. Its sad. Ben's another one. He's an unbelievable player, but he never gets the credit he deserves because of the way he plays the game. So maybe he is a big name, but he isn't as respected as the other big names. Favre wasn't truly a big name at that time yet. I bet if it was Marino, Young, Aikman, or Elway, they would've gotten it.
