Ouch... I'd say that was more on the coaches than RW.

It was still a shitty throw, you either throw it low so no one catches it or right at your guy not in front of him where the defender is.

I think too many of you are jumping at the gun to hate on Seahawks fans so you'll say anything to make them feel worse...

Correct, he was clutch. Not sure what you think he did wrong there. He through the ball to where his WR was supposed to be. It was a good defensive play, but if you can't trust your WR to make that play, then you would never throw a pass.

I'm not sure how one can look at a guy who went 12-21 for 247 yards and 2 TDs to 1 pick, with three drops and practically no open receivers all night and think "Yeah, let's call out that guy." He was probably the best player on the field that wasn't a white receiver for the Patriots.

You cannot blame him for that throw. The receiver was there and Butler made a great play.

It was a bad decision to throw that ball, but even a worse decision to call that play.

The whole tone of this thread being started 2 weeks ago was that RUSSELL makes big plays at the right moment

Whether he deserves blame or not, he was the one who threw the game ending interception.

That makes the point of this thread go sideways.

A lot of moving parts go into every play, but for the sake of this thread topic, Wilson failed.

The only thing not clutch about that ending was the play calling. It still leaves me baffled. Did Lane Kiffin call that shit?

That was a bad throw. When Wilson saw Butler was on his target he should have thrown it back shoulder, or even throw it away.

The play is around 3:44. I think if he waited half a second longer and looked left, he would have seen a wide open RB for TD.

This thread was started about how Wilson was so clutch. If he was, why was it such a horrible play call to have him pass?

I'm sorry, but if you think that was a bad decision, you know nothing about football. If you don't trust a WR to make that play, you never throw a pass (and the Seahawks lose 35-10).

For all the people bashing Wilson, his #1 target was some guy they pulled off the street from the CFL. Carroll is too absorbed with what's going on with the defense to notice that the offense is heading straight towards the gutter.

Because he doesn't throw the pass to himself? I'm not sure how hard that concept is to understand. Ironically, the right play would have been to run the ball with....Russell Wilson.

Poor "unclutch" Russell Wilson led a 40 second TD drive before half...funny how you didn't bump the thread then. Or when he led his team to the 1, with 2 ridiculous passes (and one ridiculous play by a WR as well). The fact that "haters" are calling out Wilson and Sherman, who both had excellent games, cracks me up. Out of all the people to target...
