Wilson's contract is pretty complicated with options, injury guarantees etc..., but the best estimate I could find is that it would be $35 Million in dead money for 2024 season and $50 Million in dead money for 2025 season.

People get so caught up in stats, esp the people who don't watch the games .. and the fantasy thing has only fed that monster

Each game has its own plot and within that story, you do what needs to be done to defat your opponent

The final possession yesterday vs KC down in the redzone the goal was to run down the clock, not turn the ball over and kick the FG .. A few runs gained no yardage, but that was what was required to seal the game ...

If you take that possession on its own and isolate it, it isn't impressive from a stats point of view, but it was exactly was was needed to win the game ..

You can take that example and expand it to complete games -- coaches and players are on that field to win games, regardless of gaudy stats ...

Aside from holding onto ball too long at times, Russ has done a fantastic job this season and has been a integral part of why there is some fire and excitement going into the bye
