Same. This team believes it can beat anyone. These are all amazing athletes and when they get into a groove together it can be a powerful thing. I think they gut out another close one in Houston. Maybe a 24-16 type win.

Unrealistic in many ways, I know .. But dump Wilson, sign Drew Lock for a fraction of what Wilson cost, and roll with Lock and Stidham

Lock was/is mistake prone but so was Wilson last year and look at how Payton has helped him ... Lock had flashes of greatness with a rookie OC in Scangarello and was then buried alive by Fangio and Schumer

I shudder to think what Wilson would have been with Fangio and Schumer as his coaches

Go ahead, say this ain't happening and it is ridiculous ... But I bet we'd be better than 6-6 if Lock was our QB this season, same personnel

And with money eventually freed up from Wilson's ball and chain we could distribute it elsewhere ..

I just watched the Hawks vs 9ers, and yes, I am biased because I like the guy, but Lock looked like a legit NFL QB today .. At times, he was fantastic ... His throws are effortless and he moves great - there is still the issue with decision making, but his first start in eons against a great 9ers team, he looked really good ...

Which reminds me - I thought the ball Wilson threw downfield to Jerry Jeudy where Juedy had to turn around and try to catch over his other shoulder but missed badly - was a catchable ball from Wilson.

Yes, while it wasn't the perfect throw it was very catchable on a broken play that would have been a huge gain. Difficult but a NFL WR should make that play.
