FYI — Stafford made it as a QB as the 6th or 7th alternate in the NFC one year. So only 7 or 8 guys turned it down and there is only 16 QB’s total in the NFC.

I don't care who you want to give credit for building it. The point is the same, Harbaugh inherited a talented team and that is why he had success.

Meanwhile, Saban inherited a mess @ Miami.

Yup, I saw he won 10 games with somebody else's recruits and 8 with his own...and the 8 wins came against shittier competition. You are of the opinion that he is going to get better with his own recruits, I am of the opinion that we have already seen the Jimmy Jam high water mark. The empirical evidence favors my position. You’ve been playing football at Wisconsin for 128 years — it hasn’t happened and as much as it sucks to hear, it will never happen. You don’t get the type of recruits to win a NC.
