I voted for Lamar but this graphic is garbage. Josh Allen was in 16 games and went 13-3. He handed off the ball once in the 17th game.

Well don't take it out on Lamar because Josh went for a meaningless streak......or even a bonus.

Even if Josh played,Lamar still has him beat stat wise,so it's not flawed.

the problem with looking at stats alone. Is the award isnt for the one with the best stats or most years there wouldnt be a debate.
It is Most Valuable Player. Which I take is to their team.
You have an almost 2000 yd rusher on the same team as Lamar. You plug in a above avg QB to the ravens. Their record doesnt change much. IMO.
If you plug in above avg. QB to the Bills, they lose a lot more games. So the debate would be. Which one is more valuable to the team they are on.
The Ravens defense is better, the Ravens running game is better, & in my personal opinion. I think the Ravens has one of the best coaching staffs in all of the NFL. (Mad props to John Harbaugh)

Now with that said.
I will have no issues with if Lamar wins it "this" year. Because he has one of the best years as a "passer" we have seen. His rushing stats that the media gushes over, is just the icing on the cake to the argument this year. (not the bulk of the argument)

You add any average qb to the Ravens,,they do not win 12 games....not at all.
It would be a stop Derrick Henry defense, not a try and to stop Lamar and Derrick def......

And other than Mark Andrews, who does Lamar throw to,Zay Flowers??....he finished 19th in recieving yardage.....

Taking away from Lamar would be like taking away from Saquon's stats cause he is playing behind a great oline.....with a star qb,with two great wrs on top of that.
Don't take anything from great players cause they play with other great players.

MVP for all qbs are equal.....you take out any qb from that respective team, and all teams will not be the same.
well qbs that have value anyways....

For Allen,it just maybe an always a bridesmaid and never a bride year for him again.

While we know that isn't true...I will say, I think the Ravens would be better equipped than some if only because they can lean on Henry and the run game to help out the backup QB. Having a dude that rushed for 1500 yards is a nice balance to have - and a viable backup plan to win games in the regular season.

But losing nearly ANY starting QB would impact your record for any team. If not, you don't really have a "starting" QB in this league other than by default name, anyway.

Fwiw, I don’t think Burrow has nearly enough credit for almost making the playoffs even with having outstanding receivers, I mean, it’s basically 4 quality guys on your O, and a crappy D vs in many cases, full teams with far more talent and depth than that.

I'll also add that the scheme works against Burrow and the offense. Taylor is terrible at game calling and if Burrow wasn't "Burrow" - Taylor would have been fired 4 years ago. Dude just isn't a great OC.

Regarding relative W/L records, the Ravens played 12 teams that finished > 500 while the Bills faced 6.
