The Chargers just did what the Chargers do, blow a huge lead. I saw a stat yesterday, so far this season the Chargers are 1-2 when they have a 13 point lead in the 4th quarter: the rest of the NFL is 25-0.

They really should be 4-0. Its incredible that they're 1-3. Really should be at least 3-1 but probably 4-0.

Dude, they're starting a ton of rookies and 2nd year guys AND they've been hit hard by injuries. For a team that was thin to begin with, I don't see how anyone could have expected any different.

Young players will make a ton of mistakes early on, and they have. They've been competitive for the last 3 games though and Kessler actually has been playing really well despite having very little to throw to. Pryor has stepped up and become a real receiving threat and Crowell is actually #2 in the league in rushing so far this season...shockingly.

Their biggest issue has been on the defensive side of the ball. Ogbah is looking like he's going to be a good player and Carl Nassib, though injured currently, looked good in the opener. The rest have looked really bad, particularly in the red zone.

The upside is they're all young and will continue to grow as the season goes on, plus they have a ton of draft picks to supplement and grow the team going forward. You gotta bottom out in this league if you're going to rebuild, and they certainly are this year.
