if it is so easy to find RB's then explain our failure to find any.
We just recently found Murray and then in a pinch without much prep time replaced him with a part time 1,000 yard rusher. That's not too bad is it?

trade back jerry sounds pretty darn good as we sit here today
I'm usually totally against the trade down talk, but I'd be all for it this year. #4 pick for a early to mid first rounder plus a second rounder? Or a one next year?

If we love a QB or some other guy I think we should just make the pick, but if not I'd move down if the right trading partner is there

After the combine and pro days, I will have a better idea of the top 10 players. QB, Saftey, CB, and DT, are the most urgent needs IMO. I want to see Goff and Hackenberg. Don't know if first second or later on them. I hope we get the QB of the future in this draft.

Dallas is going to need CB's more than pass rushers this off season. Drafting Bosa would be nice, but that is essentially saying Gregory is no longer in the team's plans - and I haven't seen nearly enough to write Gregory off. Hargreaves is the best fit in the top 5.
Bosa probably won't be there, but I can't see passing on him if he is. Even if great, Gregory could end up a nickel pass rusher and Bosa can rush from the inside in the nickel and play DE in base D.

Yes, corner is a bigger need, but you take the better player unless it's close. The #4 pick is not a place to be looking solely at needs. Now yes, ideally if a CB/S is the guy they see as the best player available or at least comparable then you go that route. But you don't force it IMO.

I sure hope if this team takes a QB they do it more based on how they played in the actual games than how they looked at the combine. Lots of guys can sling the shit all over the place without a 300lbs guy ready to knock their teeth in...

I wouldn't mind taking the CB out of LSU in the second or Kendall fuller from VT. I'm not to keen on our record drafting LSU guys

No to Hackenburg unless it's like the 3rd round. Even then I'd rather take a shot at the guy out of Old Miss and try and develop him. Hack has not looked good at Penn st. IMO

You are right about that, but . What I saw of Goff this year was very promising. I hope a QB that can sit behind Tony for the next one or two years, is in this draft.

Penn state has not been good as a team. Cal was not good with AR but. How did that work out? Hackenberg looked like a solid qb to me. Second round would not make me mad.

F/A is going to obviously change our draft method, needs. This F/A is awesome of course most guys will likely resign with their own teams. Here's a few guys I like. I will Highlife the one I love.

RB: Doug Martin, Alfred Morris,

the main reason I'd be all for a first round QB IF THE TEAM THINKS HE IS WORTH THE #4 PICK is because I don't see how anyone can think it's more than a 50/50 proposition that Romo ever plays 16 games again at a healthy level. I like Romo a lot more than people on here think I do, but sadly the future may be now...

Hackenberg is the kind that will dazzle at the pro days and combine. He didn't play in a great offense like some of the others but I always expected more. The Ole Miss guy I'm hoping stays one more year.

I'm torn on Martin and I think Morris would be a horrible signing for this Offense. If we are going to sign a FA he will either be better than McFadden or a clear backup. There is no benefit to giving an inferior player a bigger contract. IMO I'd move forward with DMC, Turbin, Dunbar and a draft pick.

I think Morris would be a Monster Behind this OL.
Muhammad Wilkerson would help this team so much. Bye Hardy

Doug is very injury prone. Maybe you can use him and McFadden in a 2 back scheme

I don't think this is the type of Offense for Morris to run in at all.
If the choice were Wilkerson or Hardy I'd go Wilkerson in a second. But, I don't think Hardy did enough on the field or from a character point of view this year to get him self a mega contract...

Chad Kelly was a red shirt Jr. this yr. He still has one yr of eligibility. He was kicked off his first team in college. Went to Junior College and dominated. This was his first yr at Ole Miss and yes he dominated.

To me, this is the best news we have had in years
Amen to that. Got to admit as a long time Cowboys fan having gone through soooo many horrible drafts with Jerry it seems strange to be looking forward to the draft. The last few drafts have so much better. Glad he is listening more than he used to.
