Considering our draft history, I'm not sure I'm comfortable with the Cowboys taking another corner in the top 10.

I agree with you. Saw him play a bunch. Reminds me of Mo. Playing with a great line and defense at Florida may have covered some defeciencies.
I would have no problem with that whatsoever.....we have the #3 pick looking at JJ's history we trade down to 10 or 11 and pick up another 2nd round pick
no we got the #4 pickwe have the #3 pick looking at JJ's history we trade down to 10 or 11 and pick up another 2nd round pick
No two times. Newman was not great as well.Once bitten, twice shy?
Busts happen all the time. Can't steer away from one position because you missed in the past. McClay didn't draft Claiborne. If McClay thinks Hargraeves is the way to go, I'll be happy and call it a day. If McClay decides Hargraeves is not the guy, and goes in a different direction, I'll be happy and call it a day. In McClay I trust.
But Hargraeves looks good, I'm just saying. And Mo had his warts coming out - like being dumb as a rock.
Jerry trading down is not a good move most of the time.I would have no problem with that whatsoever.....

I don't think we have a lot of holes.... we need depth at LB and depth at RB.... and a future QB. It would be nice to upgrade CB, Safety, and DT but the starters we have for those positions aren't awful by any means.
Flat out disagree!
No way Newman was a bust. He was a solid CB in Dallas for years. He wasn't All-Pro, but he was a very solid performer for a number of years, even earning a couple Pro-Bowl berths. Newman's main problem was that he was 25 by the time he was drafted, otherwise he would have had a longer career in Dallas. Newman has been serviceable as a CB as recent as last year.
ItThis is probably the first time EVER a fan of a 4-12 team picking 4th in the draft said, "All we need are some backup LBers and RB.

Did I call him a bust? Newman was an average corner. How many times did he get Bunt deep? How soon we forgetFlat out disagree!

I think you should go back to your board and worry about your team. Fix your many holes. While I agree Dallas has several top tier players they also have holes. Plenty of them or they wouldnt have gone 4-12. The good news is the QB is coming back and its really easy to find RB's.

Well I guess we better go OL in the first if were that tied to draft history.Considering our draft history, I'm not sure I'm comfortable with the Cowboys taking another corner in the top 10.
