why not the Rams? First year in L.A. with a new face of the franchise. :noidea:

Should be great for marketing and putting butts in the seats

So they are going to throw away yet another 1st round QB and fill that spot with???

They won't cut him and no one will trade for him. He is going to be a Brown at least one more year.
There's no question they'll cut him. Both Fox Sports and the NFL Network are reporting that his time is very likely at an end. He's shown marginal talent on the field and remarkable immaturity off of it. He's a 1st rounder, yes, but that was under an entirely different regime. We dumped Weeden after 2 years when we had a regime change, and dumped Brady Quinn after 3 years, and he showed more potential than Manziel.

McCown will be back more than likely, Austin Davis will be back, and I expect them to draft a QB. Another name that has popped up in the rumor mill is Kaepernick. Evidently Jackson is a huge fan of his and even tried to trade up for him in Oakland. He's likely going to be cut by San Fran (his contract guarantees don't vest until April 1 so it won't cost them that much), and he likely won't command much money on the market. If Cleveland offers him the starting role and guys like Gordon, Barnidge, Benjamin and Duke Johnson to throw to, he could do much worse.

I wouldn't be surprised if Johnny Foosball ended up in the CFL.

Damn shame...the guy already holds an NFL record...for the fewest career snaps before his first trip to rehab.

My guess is Dallas picks him up and drops him before the season begins. Someone is going to take a photo of him snorting coke from a hookers ass.

And the hooker will be named Phil

If he is, he's gonna get the RG3 treatment. I'd be willing to bet the Browns draft Goff or Lynch

That apparently does not get one cut in Dallas though. :D

It doesn't really matter because he is going to be a backup.

I'm guessing which ever one Jackson likes best will be a Brown next year.

I think it's safe to think SF @ 5 will take the 2nd QB...but there will still be some guys at the top of the 2nd rd...Wentz, Cook, Hackenberg.

I would be tempted to take Bosa if they convert to 4-3...and then take one of the QBs at the top of the 2nd...or trade down with say HOU if I could get a 1st and 2nd. Either way...they must come away from this draft with a QB...JM is not the answer.

Dallas.

I can see a team giving up a late draft pick (5th or 6th) for him.

According to a source close to the situation, the topic of Manziel was discussed at length in meetings between Jackson and Browns ownership. In those discussions, Jackson indicated that he would prefer the organization move on from Manziel if he were to become coach, and he was told that would not be a problem.

Source: Jackson means Browns, Manziel done

Are they gonna cut him? I can't imagine anyone giving more than a 7th for him
