I posted this on the Nebraska board on Monday.

Before I was against Frost, only because of his short career as HC. I did some thinking while driving the other day.

In 2014, one of the coaches I wanted was Justin Fuente.

He played at Oklahoma.
He learned under Gary Patterson.(another coach I wanted nebraska to throw money at in 2014)
He learned to recruit in Texas.
He did a very good job of coaching at Memphis.

Compare Scott Frost

The obvious, Nebraska duh.
He did play in the NFL.
He learned under Chip Kelly.
He learned to recruit the west coast and now Florida.
He is doing a very good job of coaching at UCF.

I am all in with Scott Frost. Show him the money.

Scott Frost signs football contract extension with UCF

Not sure if he has his eyes on other possible prizes though.

UCLA, Texas A&M, LSU, Tennessee. I am pretty sure LSU, A&M, or Tennessee would open their wallet. Not sure if UCLA would, those west coasters think differently.

I think LSU is the pick of the litter.

But there is a problem there. Scott Frost attended Stanford and Nebraska. Is winning at football more important to him than being around intelligent people? LSU is not known for having smarts and encouraging their players to be educated. Personally, I do not like hanging around with dumb people, it grates on me.

If I was Nebraska, $4,000,000 is the number I offer him. Nebraska has a lot more money than people think.

I would tell him that we think some of our assistant coaches should be kept.

1. Keith Williams great recruiter and receivers really love him
2. Donte Williams great recruiter
3. John Parella I think he is turning the D line back into a D Line

Would be nice if he kept them
4. Trent Bray I think he deserves a chance
5. Scott Booker I think he deserves a chance
6. Bob Diaco I am liking the improvement I have seen. This opinion might change after the next seven weeks
7. Tavita Thompson I like the energy he brings

He can bring in a new O line coach, a new OC, and a new running backs coach.

Also, how would his Mom Feel? This LINK is AWESOME!!!!!! You have got to read it. His Mom trashed Michigan and even predicted what the Wolverwhines beating would be.

You can forget about LSU and it's why they aren't in this poll.

LSU is stuck with Ed Orgeron and can only blame itself

Why the hell you wanna bring facts into this fight????

Both Nebraska and Tennessee are big programs with great fan bases that bring in a bunch of $$. Honestly, it was just the "way more" money part that caught my attention. I really don't like getting into the whole weenie measuring contests (I fucking lose every time), but I know enough to know that Tennessee still makes good $$.

tbh I don't think we land Frost, I see either Kelly, Petrino or the Purdue coach. Maybe even that Memphis coach.

We play South Carolina, @ Alabama and @ Kentucky next. This is the stretch that will decide his fate, imo.

Technically, Nebraska wasn't in the poll and neither was A&M.

None of the schools in the poll have even fired their coach yet. But there is an "other" vote. I selected other.

If LSU boosters can find money to buy a new car for GUICE's MOM, I bet they can scrounge the pillow cushions for a new coach. Especially if LSU pulls an Ole Miss Orgeron on them.

I'm gonna say Florida only because it's not gonna be a huge life change for the guy. It's only 2 hours away and I believe Florida will 100% be in the running for a coach. With that said, Frost's alma mater is Nebraska so that might be a good fit for him as well. That's where he was QB for the 97 national championship team. Top 3 for me would be Florida, Tennessee and Nebraska.

I think if he winds up at Nebraska, that could be just the thing to turn their program around and eventually put them in the driver's seat in the B1G West. No reason to think he couldn't turn them into annual contenders.

Nebraska seems like the obvious fit. Also wouldn't rule out Tennessee. I think he'll be good wherever he goes, and it could be a huge game changer as far as conference pecking order. If he goes to the B1G, without a doubt they'd have the premier coaches(Harbaugh, Urban and Franklin) and good up and comers like Brohm, Fleck, Durkin and then Frost.

I went with Tennessee. Only because Nebraska is operating on an interim AD (Dave Remington) who stated he was 'not brought in to fire anybody'. His interim position is for 60 days so Tennessee could jump before Nebraska gets a new AD in place or the new AD takes his time firing Riley.

Why would this guy want to leave the state of florida and go to nebraska or tennessee.

Why did Stoops leave Florida to go to the land of red lakes?

No Hurricanes in Nebraska?

Dude already left California to come back to NU and win a Natty. The crystal one. Not the 2x4 plank the AP gave out in 1997.

Nebraska is his alma mater and I would consider Tennessee historically a better job than Florida.

Dude
Have you watched them the last couple of years.
That job needs to be, just like Nebraska.

It's not open though, and I doubt he's gonna sit tight and wait for it to open given a nice salary, facilities, and tradition elsewhere.

Florida - Hurricanes, sink holes, fires, tsunamis, rain, and humidity.

Scientists Warn Of Massive Tidal Wave From Canary Island Volcano

Nebraska - Tornadoes, blizzards, and a super volcano.(Yellowstone)

Tornadoes are like sinkholes, the chance of one hitting your house is slim. Blizzards are like fires, pretty bad but for only a couple of days.

Hurricanes, they occur too often and really mess everything up.

Super Volcano OK, this is the worst one. But when was the last time earth had a super volcano?

PLusses

Florida - Sunshine, bikinis, walks on the beach, coeds in bikinis, older jewish women from New York in Bikinis, warm weather, Disney World, Universal Park, seafood, year round golf, and superb football recruiting.

Nebraska - Mom and Dad live there, corn fed beef. and Superb Pheasant Hunting.

Pretty sure LSU is out. They can't even afford to pay him $10 an hour. ASU would be a good landing spot since he is so familiar with that conference. I would like to see him land in Tempe once Graham gets fired mid season.
