Why that one? There's like a gazillion UW pics out there and you give him one with Smith? :mad2:

Just thank god it wasn't Ty Willingham I guess.
I honestly don't care. I thought it was funny he picked it when I said I don't care, I'm getting a little kick out of how much you hate it.

Come on man, after a frustrating start Smith has shown a lot of improvement. I think we all worried he might regress without Tedford, and he's doing alright so far. It could be worse.

It drives me nuts every time he post and I see that avi. You don't know how much I wanted Tedford to take the OC job. I was praying he would get that position.

That would have been cool, but was never gonna happen. He was just killing time until his next HC gig.

That's below the belt. I don't know of any crappy Okie St. coaches but I'm going to start googling for one.

Bob Simmons Pat Jones. And that is off the top of my head.

Basically take Waldorf, Lookabagh, Johnson, Miles, and Gundy out and take your pick.

Oh yeah, look at my avi. It is your destiny this season.

13 - 0 <--- remember that because that's going to be Washington's record after the PACCG.

I wouldn't go that far.

The offense hasn't been a disaster like the Seahawks, but it hasn't been inspiring either. They need to improve in the first half particularly in the red zone.

What we don't know this year is how many of the dead plays are on Jake as he has been given the ability to check out of called plays at the line. That makes blame a bit trickier.

I don't hate Smith like some do, but I'm not sold he is the best OC money can buy either.

Go how far? All I said is he's improved, doing alright, and it could be worse. I'm not saying make him the highest paid OC or anything.

Honestly, Smith's kind of still up in the air, his first year he had Cyler fucking miles to work with, he'd make any OC look like shit. Year 2 was true freshman Browning, I think we all kind of had the feeling they deliberately didn't want to put to much on him. Year 3 was pretty great in general, but he had help (to what extent and exact specifics of the nature of that help is unknown, as far as I know anyway). now we're 5 games into year 4, there's some concerns, but I haven't found myself necessarily bitching about play calling, and considering the schedule it's hard to say anyway.

The gripes we've had in the past about abandoning the run and stuff like that isn't all on Smith. I think those first 2 years left a bad taste in our mouths, understandably. But sadly 4 years in the jury's kind of still out on a Smith ran offense.

Guess we'll see. I knew this would be an interesting season heading into it. I'm ready for some stability, and to get back to being a top 15 team annually and competing for SEC Championships. This going through a new coach every 4-5 years is getting old. :L

A good coach, that is committed to sticking with the program long term. Yeah...that'd be great... :flypig:

Of course Nebraska will keep their problem another year and miss out.
