Why would anyone want him he is washed up and injury prone who wants to spend money on that
Jets & Texans come to mind.
If the Browns play their cards right the Texans might even throw in some picks for a released player!

Browns informed WR Odell Beckham of his release.

Profootballtalk's Mike Florio initially reported the move, while Yahoo's Charles Robinson has since confirmed it. Since the trade deadline has come and gone, Beckham must first clear waivers even though he is a vested veteran. Florio reports that is where the tricky part comes in, as Beckham has agreed to a "revised contract that reduces the team’s obligation to pay Beckham, if he’s not claimed on waivers and becomes eligible for the balance of his salary termination pay." As Florio points out, the key for Beckham is making sure his salary does not go low enough that he actually gets claimed. Beckham wants to clear waivers and be free to choose his new home. Robinson reports the Browns "failed to receive any trade offers for Beckham," with perhaps only the Saints even considering one. Slowed by injury and intrigue during his star-crossed time in Cleveland, Beckham's initial market could be uncertain, but he will undoubtedly draw interest from a gaggle of competing teams.

Right now any team that claims him has to pick up an $8M salary.
Browns are on th hook for that because it's guaranteed. Smart team let's him clear waivers.

Last productive year was 2017
Injured 2018,19, 20, 21
Couldn't get along with Eli or Baker

Odds makers say that the Ravens are 5:2 to bring him aboard. Patriots are 3:1 then it starts to jump to 5:1 ++++

2019, his first year in Cleveland.

Last year he was hurt and he hasn't had a chance to show what he can do this season since Mayfield has only targeted him just under 6 times a game.

He was not very good that year. 74 catches on 133 targets? That's not good at all. 4 TDs? And his 1,035 yards come out to 64/game.

That's on Mayfield. 2nd year QB struggles.

Pretty sure you were happy about Cooper's production in 2019 and it wasn't much better.

In his game with Keenum he was targetted 6 times and he caught 2 passes. It's a pattern throughout. He has the worst catch rate on the team by a substantial margin

Yep. He was 70% his rookie year and has been low 60s or mid to high 50s ever since. He might be the most over-rated WR in the league.
