The short and simple answer is LEBRON WILL NEVER PASS MICHAEL JORDANWell, first he needs to catch him in a category.
Which category do you think Bron Bron will catch the King in?

I am actually completely cool with anyone that says that Jordan is the GOAT. Or Kareem. Or Wilt. Or Lebron.
To me, the difference isn't big enough to matter all that much.
but you can't say Nick 'Swaggy P' Young is an all time great
It's called thinking outside the box and I'm glad you think it's darling.
Exactly. I was listening to a sports talk show yesterday where they were interviewing Rick Barry. They asked him who's the GOAT. I really liked his answer.
He said: "In a team sport, you can't pick one player as the greatest of all time. You can only pick the best player at each position. Jordan is the best shooting guard ever, Wilt is the best center ever, Lebron is the best small forward ever, etc."
No that is outside of reality.
Many won't agree with me on this but I think he is and I'm also a Mav's fan.
Probably more games than you do.

Dirk is #6 in scoring all time and should move up to #5 this coming season. Yes it may be a stretch to some folks but the guy was instrumental in the win over a Miami team featuring LeBron, Wade and Bosch in the 2010-2011 Championship game.I love Dirk. He's always been one of my favorite non-Lakers players. But top 5 all time...is a bit of a stretch.
I'm not even 100% sure he's ever been a top 5 player in the league for a season...even when he won the MVP, let alone all time.
