She never said they both would.

Nope...

I said they cold share the same backcourt for years to come.

But, it would be with the Lakers or Knicks.

I did, and still do, believe that the pg/sg by committee plan will cost them one of their core guys.

As I said on that thread way back when, unless the Suns field a superior team, the LA, NY market might be very appealing to Dragic...especially if either team can lad another stud.

The Morris Twins are nice.

Bledsoe and Thomas can e monsters.

But, they are still the 9th or 10th best team in the West.

No bueno.

52 million. Over 4 years. 13 mil per year.

70 million. Over 5 years. 14 mil per year.

Comprende?

You are correct.

You said 52 mil...was an overpay...lol

Did I alter or quote?

Hmm.. deal could get done by tomorrow. 4 year 52 mil? That's as high as I'd go... still an overpay but I would love to see the Dragic-Thomas-Bledsoe trio come to fruition. Yeah, like I said almost every contract given out to an RFA is an overpay. That's the only way to keep young talent, but the reason I said it's a steal of a contract now is because I believe he's played up to the contract and he's still getting better. Fair?

Sure......I was just teasing you anyway.

I don't have a eidetic memory.

But, it's damn close.

I clearly remember you posting that the Suns offer was an overpay.

So, when you said otherwise, I decide to poke you.

Back t the script...

I know you want a defensive big.

But, I think Brook Lopez would be awesome.

All you need is Trigger Mike back to run the show:lol:

The NBA is still a bigman and or at least an athletic swingman league.

I cannot remember the last team that was point guard dominated who won a darn thing.

MAGIC was freaking almost 6'10" and could play a little center, he doesn't really count.

Point Guards win in college.
Frontcourt players win in the pros.

Lopez wouldn't be bad, anything is an upgrade over the garbage we have at center right now. But can he run the floor well?

And uhh... HELL NO TO MIKE.

I have only seen him in action once this year.

But, he looked good.

Another lethal scorer.

He'd be great in Phil's triangle too.

Suns guard Goran Dragic left open the possibility of going to any team in free agency when talking before Saturday's game and stuck to the idea after the game when asked again about being an unrestricted free agent in July. "It's still early to talk about that," Dragic said. "Right now, I want to be 100 percent focused on the team and try to help the team and players. In the offseason, I'm going to probably sit down with my family first and with my agent and try to explore all the options. From there, I'll try to choose the one best for me." Arizona Republic

Sounds like they should trade him, and is it possible to build a championship team around Bledsoe/Thomas? How long before the Suns have to blow it up? Not looking good in my opinion....

I don't know that they have to trade HIM.

But, they will have to rid themselves of one of the Tiny Titans.

I think Thomas will be the guy.

Then again, a bird in the hand beats two in the bush.

They could trade one of the guys they have signed long-term and Dragic could still walk.

I think Bledsoe will be a star.

Their front court is the problem.

It's gonna be interesting this summer with teams in New York and LA with major cap space.

Does their GM have the stones to risk losing him for nothing?

I think the Rondo trade complicates things for Phoenix.

I think Rondo would have been high on the Knicks and Lakers radar had he remained with Boston.

But, I don't see them offering him a max deal to steal him from Cuban.

So, Dragic will probably be at the top of those teams, and the Pacers, list.

Do they not have a PR guy to tell this kid to zip his lips:lol:.

I know he's just answering the questions asked.

But, Dayuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum:doh:

Goran Dragic called signing with the New York Knicks a “possibility” in July when he plans to opt out of his contract and test free agency.

The presence of Phil Jackson makes the Knicks more attractive to Dragic.

“Oh yeah, definitely,” said Dragic, who earned All-NBA third-team honors last season. “You know Phil, he was a great coach. He won so many titles and he was coaching so many great players that of course it’s interesting and I would love working with him. Because probably he’s making all the moves — I’m not sure — but he knows what the team needs and what direction the team needs to go. In the past probably, he makes some decisions, who the Lakers bring in and the Chicago Bulls and (he) did an amazing job.”

Dragic said he intends to keep his options open for free agency and isn’t focusing on any single team, though he did repeat the Knicks were an option.

“I think so it’s a possibility, but not just New York,” Dragic said. “I’m a free agent. I want to explore my options but so far I’m really happy in Phoenix. They give me a lot. I like the city. I like the fans and I like the organization, so it’s going to be a tough decision to make, but I’m going to start thinking of that at the end of the season.”

Here's my prediction and you can scold me if I'm wrong.

1) If we trade one of Thomas or Bledsoe before the offseason then I give him a 90 percent chance of coming back.

2) If we keep both with him heading to Free Agency then it probably becomes 50/50 depending on how much other teams offer him, what our plans are, etc.

Interesting stat- Suns are 11-6 when all three guards play. So maybe it's too early to write the three PG idea off depending on how the rest of the season shakes out.
