Every season, we go through this. November, oh no, the Pats aren't as dominant. Brady has lost his edge, this is wrong, that isn't working, yada, yada. Then we look up in January, and the Pats are hosting a game after the bye and winning. I'll just wait and see and I could honestly not give a rats ass about "nextgen stats". When it comes to BB and January football, the stats are as worthless as used toilet paper.

I dont feel like their O-Line is any worse them some of the other contenders. I feel like without Gronk their just isnt much threat down the field. Edleman over the middle and dump offs to White. Their just doesnt seem to be a ton of diversity in what they do and I think theres more factors besides just O Line play.

But yeah talk to me in January regarding the Pats. They usually find a way regardless

Skating until January.

Such an easy schedule didn't prepare them for the middle of the season, but they always prepare right for the playoffs.

I think any team will have a hard time beating them twice in a season. They always make adjustments.

The Patriots will be okay as they have the top defense in the NFL.

Some truth in the article, you don't go after a player with as much negative publicity going on as Antonio Brown unless you have a need. It seems to be centered around the HOU game which makes it a little knee jerkish...it was one game. Besides...it's been a long time since Brady had elite OFC weapons and it hurt them.

That said, not taking a TE with 10 draft choices is a head scratcher.

So you are blaming Belichick for not surrounding Brady with more talent?
yes. it started when they let demarius thomas walk for the "talents" of AB.

and brought in 4 TE's that have combined for 38 catches, for 349 yards and 1 TD.

The way Brady’s moving nowadays, he could become a vegetable with one big hit....If that was allowed of course....

Normally in Nov they have it all figured out.

IMO TB12 needs to adjust his game said this multiple times already. He is the veteran he has two rookies WRs a first year or half year guy in Sanu, teams know this and will double Jules. And speaking of Jules hey TB start looking elsewhere. Adjust the playbook to allow the rookies and Sanu to get acclimated.

And run the damn ball more.

Those top defensive stats appear to have been padded by the weak opponents in the early season. It is not as easy to get those same results when they play better teams.

My guess is Buffalo and the Pats are tied at the top of the division at seasons end but the Pats will somehow win the division when the tie breaker rules are applied

I agree the Pats should run the ball more as Brady's arm strength has diminished quite noticeably.
